I sit on the blanket and Lucio comes to lie with me on his side. His blue eyes bore into mine.
"It's a lovely day," I answer him.
His hand strokes my leg. "It's a lovely day." He answers me and nods. "I want to thank you for inviting us."
"Oh Lucio stop, you know you're always welcome, Sofia has been with us so many times. I enjoy the moments with you, too." I tell him.
His smile gets bigger and bigger and the butterflies in my stomach only get more.
"We have a barbecue on Friday, at our house by the lake. Do you want to come with me? With the children? I know they're actually going to Maxwell, but I think it's fun for Miles, too. There are plenty of beds there. Then we can all stay the night at the Lakehouse." He tells me.
