Charles drives the car. Bella is still quiet. He didn’t want to be a burden to Bella, so he decided where to go. It only takes them four hours to reach Baguio City and it is all thanks to Expressways. It is already 2 in the morning when Bella wakes up. She was alone inside the car. She looked for Charles but he wasn’t there. Bella decided to go outside and there she saw Charles sitting on the bench near the lake in Burnham Park.
Burnham Park?
“Are we in Baguio?" she asked out of curiosity.
“Yeah. I just thought you needed to breathe some fresh air. And this comes into my mind first,” Charles explained.
“Charles, thank you!” she replied. “Thank you for what you did,” she added.
“Anyone would do that and, besides, you’re special to me,” he replied without a second thought.
