Charles found a letter near him. It was neatly folded on top of Bella’s pillow. His heart pounded fast when he realized it was from Bella. He immediately jumped off the bed and looked for Bella inside the house, but Bella couldn’t be anywhere inside the house. He went back to the room and checked Bella’s things – they were all there. Not for long, he calmed himself. He sat on the bed and started to read the letter. It was for him. He read it. Bella started apologizing in the letter. She talked about how blessed she was to have him and their baby. He stopped reading the letter, grabbed his phone, and started calling Bella.
