Charles faced the battle on his own. Bella did everything she could to give birth to Cali and Cala, despite what she had been through, and now it was his part to do what he needed to do. He first went home and met his parents. Unexpectedly, his dad was home and so with his mom.
They were sitting in the living room as if they were waiting for him, looking for some photos on his mom’s iPad. “Aren’t they so adorable?” Charles heard his mom talking about some kids. “They look like him,” she added.
“Mom, Dad, can we talk?” Charles didn’t waste any minute the moment he entered the house. “Can you spare me a minute?” he asked. They were kind of busy yet happy with what they were doing.
“Oh, you’re here,” his mom said. His mom gave the gadget to his dad. “When can we meet them?” his mom asked.
