Bella decided to stay with Charles that night. She was afraid to let him be alone without anyone at his side. Besides, he wasn’t acquainted with anyone. She leaned her head on his broad shoulders. They were holding hands while looking at the dark sky full of sparkling stars through the window.
“Do you want me to send you home?” Charles asked. He was concerned Bella might catch a cold.
“I don’t want to leave you here all alone,” Bella said. She held his arm tighter. “Can I ask you some questions?” Bella asked, thinking about what label they had right now. She knew Charles had already said that he loved him but it wasn’t official yet. Charles didn’t ask her to be his girlfriend. With that, they were still not in a romantic relationship but a situationship.
