Day one was finally here, and we took one of my dad's private planes and yes, my dad owns a private plane well four if am to take count, rapacious that exactly how he wanted more money than he needed like how can u get four private planes when all you need is one.
He doesn't even take a break he seems to enjoy showcasing the things he bought with his so-called money rather than caring about his son I can’t remember when last we laughed with each or go sporting or do anything with each other, well that doesn't mean too much to me now.
I needed to get Sidney to Korea on time for the big vacation and I wasn't going to let the thought of my father keep me from enjoying her presence of.
Sensing the sudden increase of tension that was coming out of her I smiled, her mood had changed so quickly and that made me so confused she had always loved sky diving, and now she was afraid of the plane taking off it was really an amusing event to witness.
I couldn't help but smile at her, I held her hand to console her racing heart signaling to her that everything was okay, she smiled back at me with every bit of her plus that had risen calming down.
“Looks like you’re afraid of the plane taking off and from what I heard you loved sky diving”, I spoke teasingly, she laughed at my foolish understanding and I got confused.
“It's not as if I am scared of the plane taking off no, I just, well normally I fly with lots of people on board but now I am flying in a private plane and I was kind of feeling it was too much for me”
She paused for a while and then continued “I am the type that prefers the bumpy ride with people talking and chit-chatting all those things and this is looking way too expensive for me”.
Holding her hand so close to not letting it go I said to her “On this trip, we are going to not think of the expense okay just focus on making a good memory out of it”.
Looking into her eyes I smiled and continued “Besides you don't get to ravish and enrapture in the view of the cloud from a public plane like this” Opening the window giving her the best view of the beautiful clouds up close, I smiled at her and spoke.
“so please try hard to enjoy the view out the window rather than worrying about what is unnecessary at this very moment”.
Just like magic her mood brightened the moment she turned and steer at the beautiful sight before her, every sight that came out the window was a view of perfection to behold, her smile grew wider and brighter, looking at her sitting so beautifully steering out the window marveling at every view that cut the speed of her eye sight, feeling myself falling in love with her all over again, feeling my love grow stronger and stronger with each second's that passes away and I felt like staying like this forever.
It seems like the universe heard my prayer and answered it but in doing so they delayed my journey maybe after thinking so long on how they can fulfill my wish they decided to delay the flight because they couldn't keep the promise of keeping us forever because humans are destined to dye one day.
the journey to Korean took a little while longer than I had envisioned in my plan due to the sudden change in weather and I wasn't pleased because I picked today as the first day because the weather forecast didn't speak of any storm or heavy clouds but now this a storm is taking us back to the ground waiting till it passes away.
I was going crazy my plan wasn't going as planed every bit activity that were to happen today was set in details with a specific time attached to it and now the day was almost coming to an end and we had done nothing not even one so much for all my plans for today going down the drain.
Looking all depressed and angry at nothing but time, why was it always getting to me why, when ever I asked for extra it give me less whenever I had something planed out, it either delay the inevitable or become in exactitude.
Turning to her direction feeling my heart coming to a pause at every bit it makes, what was this, was she asleep, I had never seen her sleeping face before, she looked, looked I couldn't produce the right word out of my mouth my brain couldn't create the right word that best qualifies her enough to describe how beautiful she looked at that moment she was a goddess in her sleep a woman of beauty.
I have never seen such beauty before in my entire life, what was this I just couldn't take my eyes off her, I was so deep in marveling her perfection for she was a perfectionist in her sleep that I failed to realize the landing of the plane.
I straighten my hand to grace even the tiniest bit of her hair, but got interrupted by the pilot announcing the landing of the plane and waking her from her beautiful slumber and it was at that moment I realize how long had been steering at her.
Adjusting myself quickly before she notices the awkwardness of my situation and getting the wrong thought or motive about me, ha! what happening to me I wasn't always like this losing myself in front of her just because she fell asleep.
I smiled at her we are here, looking out the window she returned the smile back to me and I almost lost it again if not for the plane attendance who came to get our luggage out.
“Beautiful” I heard her voice once as the beauty of all the planes ascending and descending cut her sight. “I mean the view outside the window is beautiful” she spoke with a little chuckle on her lips not wanting me to get the wrong view of her statement.
Laughing alongside with her I spoke gently, “I could bring you here every time if you ever want to see the view again” looking out the window I too also smiled, I had always flown by planes all my life but never for once have I ever seen the glorifying beauty of plane's ascending and descending in the middle of the night with their light shining so bright and magnificent in the beautiful darkness of the night.
I smiled at her again “I need to show you something” I spoke taken her attention from the planes, maybe today is not so disastrous as I thought it had become.
Smiling real hard as the image of my mother came to my head, “maybe we can still watch the fireworks being shot to the sky, this was my mom favorite event too bad she’s not here to witness it she had always loved to come here every summer and camp on the beach with my father and I, it was something I had come to love but ever since she got into that accident trying to avoid that truck driver and then running into another car that exploded right in front of my eyes all because I wanted her phone all because I wanted to talk to my father”.
I took a paused breathed in and out as the painful memory erupted in me. “Now all the things she loved doing are being locked up because it hurts me so bad to do the things, she loved without her but looking at you Sidney I have decided to try it all again.
