Two Weeks Later
Have you ever had a moment in your life that you didn’t believe was real while it was happening? I had one of mine this morning.
Here’s how it happened.
I woke up for release day, pretty confident that my sales would be abysmal as s**t, as they’ve been in the past, at least by my standards. I’d done all the behind the scenes legwork—I’d assembled my ‘pimps’, which is the book world term for the people who help you share your posts and get the word out, sometimes also called a ‘street team.’ I also contacted bloggers, did some minor paid advertisements, sent out a newsletter, and generally did everything I could to spread the word.
