Chapter 1

1647 Words
The first thing I saw when I opened my bedroom door was my boyfriend of five years f*****g another man in our bed. I had just finished a sixteen-hour shift at the diner. I was exhausted and starving, and all I wanted was to crawl into my soft, warm bed and sleep. Instead, I stood frozen at the door, staring at the man I'd spent five years loving as he f****d another man in our bed. For a few seconds, my mind refused to understand what my eyes were seeing. My feet were killing me after spending sixteen hours in the same cheap flats I had worn almost every day for the past two years. I had skipped dinner to save money and kept putting off buying new clothes because Logan was still looking for a job. I was paying most of the bills, but I kept telling myself it was temporary. We were a team. That's what I'd tell myself whenever I was too tired to stand. Logan was a good man. He just needed time to get back on his feet. I tightened my grip on my keys. Despite how tired I was, I couldn't help smiling at the thought of seeing Logan. All I wanted was to get into bed, curl up beside him, and forget about the long day.. I quietly unlocked the door and stepped into the dark apartment. Something felt wrong the moment I stepped inside. I could smell alcohol, but there was something else too, a cologne I didn't recognize. Logan's cheap body spray usually lingered in the apartment. This wasn't it. Did he get a surprise gift for us? Did he finally land a job? I held my breath as I tiptoed down the hallway toward the bedroom. I wrapped my fingers around the doorknob and slowly pushed the door open. “Babe, do we have a visitor—“ The words died in my throat Logan, who was usually so composed and always kept a straight face, was wearing bright red lipstick. His hair was tied into two ridiculous little buns with one of my pink ribbons. He was bent over the bed, completely naked, with another man behind him, plunging his c**k into Logan’s ass with a shared force, while he held Logan’s erected c**k with one hand. “Do you like it baby?” “Do you like the way I f**k your ass?” the man asked, breathing heavily. “Yes! Harder baby! Give it to me harder! Logan screamed, moaning his lungs out like a complete whore.” The keys I had been clutching slipped from my hand and hit the hardwood floor with a sharp clatter as I stood there frozen with shock. Logan's head snapped toward me. His eyes widened when he saw me. And for a moment, he looked scared, but then his expression hardened. He didn't rush to cover himself or push the man away from him, He simply stared at me as though I had interrupted something important. While the man continued pounding his ass. "Aria, baby? You are home early. I thought your shift ended at midnight." He asked, his voice was unevenly calm. The man behind him groaned softly as he finally came and pulled out his c**k from Logan's Ass, some of his sperm landed on the carpet beside the bed. He threw a lazy glance in my direction, unbothered by my presence. He spanked Logan’s ass twice and said." That was incredible babe." And Logan gave him a kiss on the lips before the man went inside the bathroom I stared at Logan, waiting for him to tell me I had misunderstood what I was seeing. I wanted him to laugh. To tell me it was some stupid prank. Anything—anything—would have been better than the truth standing in front of me. My stomach turned. I barely had time to cover my mouth before I threw up on the carpet. My boyfriend was cheating on me with a man. Suddenly, the last five years started making sense. We had never slept together. Logan had always told me his religion didn't allow s*x before marriage and that we had to stay celibate until our wedding night. I had believed him. I had actually thought I was lucky to have found a man who valued commitment over s*x. And I never brought up the issue of s*x again. I always thought of how lucky I was to find such a man. I took on most of the responsibilities since I was the only one working. Half of my salary went into saving for our future and the rest for running the household. Now I realized the joke had been on me. He wasn’t sexually attracted to me because he was gay. "What..." My voice was choked with tears. "What is this, Logan? Who... who is that? You…you are gay?” "Keep your voice down, do you want the neighbors to hear you?” Logan said, swinging his legs over the side of the bed. He reached for his boxers on the floor, pulling them on with slow, agonizing deliberation. "Don't start screaming. Sit down so we can talk about this calmly like adults.” Calmly? He seriously wanted me to sit down and calmly discuss this? "Like adults?!" I laughed, but there was nothing funny about it. Tears slipped down my cheeks as I stared at him. "I just worked sixteen f*****g hours to pay our rent, Logan. I come home exhausted, starving, and find you naked in our bed with another man and you are telling me to calm down?" He rolled his eyes and sighed, the exact sound he made whenever I asked him to help with the dishes or help around the house. He walked over and stopped in front of me, looking at me like I was the one causing a problem. "Aria, stop being dramatic," he said smoothly, his tone as flat as if he were explaining a grocery list. “This doesn't change anything between us,” he said nonchalantly. “I still love you. You're still my girlfriend.” I stared at him. He glanced toward the kitchen. “Julian and I are hungry, by the way. You bought groceries, right? Go make something. I told him you're a great cook.” I stared at him, my heart breaking into a thousand pieces. "What... What are you saying, Logan? Can you hear yourself? I should go and make food for you and your lover?” And you have the mind to say you still love me? “Yes, Aria, I still love you,” he said, stepping closer and reaching for my shoulders. “We have been together for five years, and I'm going to marry you soon anyway. That hasn't changed. But I also love Julian. He gestured toward the bed, where Julian was lying naked, chewing gum as he scrolled through his phone. “I love you both,” he said, like this was the simplest thing in the world. “Julian is fine with us living together. Think about it. The three of us could have a good life.” My stomach churned violently. Is he really saying this to me? "You... what?" “You hear me loud and clear, Aria. Think about it. The three of us could have a good life.” Why should we restrict ourselves from having more than one partner and losing out on all the fun?” Logan asked. “Once we are married, Julian can move in. You will be my wife, he will be my lover, and we will all figure it out together. And I want the two of you to start getting along with each other. Then he paused before adding, “And honestly, you should think about leaving college. You could work more hours instead and make more money for our family of three.” I stood there, staring at him, unable to believe what I was hearing. Julian was nodding like Logan had just said the most sensible thing. “Yes baby, you are right. And we will stay in the bedroom together. She can stay in the visitor’s room.” Julian added. He wanted me to quit college and give up my dream of becoming a doctor. He wanted me to keep working double shifts every day while he stayed home with Julian, living off the money I earned. And somehow, he expected me to accept it all, to smile and become the obedient meal ticket for their twisted little fantasy. And his lover wanted me to leave my room in the house I paid for and move to the guest room. "You expect me to pay for both of you?" My voice shook, I was already furious. "You expect me to share my life, my money, and my bed with you and your male lover?" "It's not sharing,” Logan said impatiently. “It's expanding our relationship. "Don't ruin five years over your childish jealousy. I'm offering you a family. Don't be selfish. At least I did not cheat on you with a woman, you should be happy about that. Selfish?” He hadn't held a steady job in months, yet somehow he was already planning how my money would support both him and Julian. I almost laughed. Five years. I have given this man five years of my life, and this was what he thought I owed him. “You absolute piece of trash!” Without saying another word, I turned on my heel, shoved the front door open, and slammed it behind me. I ran down the stairs and into the cold night air. I didn’t know where I was going, I just knew I couldn't stay in that house with Logan and his lover for another second.
