HE LOVED THE WRONG ME

CHAPTER4:SECOND CHANCE

I woke up with a splitting headache.

"Arghh it's like a bulldozer slammed my head on a brick wall.."I say to myself as I hold my head in pain. I thought there is no pain in heaven. Why am I feeling like this?

Wait! I opened my eyes and see myself in Aurora's room in our father's house. This isn't possible, I can never be in my sister's room let alone sleep on her bed!

I rush up to see myself in the mirror, only to realize that I am no longer in my body. Damn, I think I'm going crazy! I clean my eyes with my hands only to see the same person on the mirror...I can't believe that man's crazy talk actually worked. I transmigrated into my sister's body.

After I check the time and date in Aurora's phone, I confirm that I not only switched souls with my sister but also transmigrated back in time to the day before the wedding. If everything goes the same way it did that year, Aurora is planning on escaping from the house and then my parents will make me enter the next flight leaving the country I was in to come be a substitute bride to Adrian. No, I have to right the wrong. This is my chance to live the dream life I was promised. I won't run, I will marry my husband as the love of his life. My sister owes me this after she made my husband cheat on me. After she made me leave as a widow for a year even though I was married.

I will choose my own happiness in this life. Before I walk out of the room to meet my parents, I received a text message in Aurora's phone. Good thing my sister has always been chivalrous and wild which made her not care about passwords or else I would have been stuck.

I opened the phone only to see a text message saying 'I’m outside. Let’s leave tonight like we planned. I love you.' The sender: Sebastian..

This left me shocked, why will my sister get a message from an unknown man. Is this the person Aurora was planning to run away with? Who is he to her?

I checked their previous messages for more only to get disappointed because smart Aurora didn't leave any evidence. The curiosity bone in me was tingling and this led me to opening her drawer in search of her diary. I have never opened this diary before but I need to now.

I look through her diary and the first part is filled with her dreams and goals for herself, at one point I wanted to give up searching until I stumbled upon a page tagged 'my pregnancy journey'.

To tell you that the content of that page didn't leave me shocked, I will say that I am lying. I can't believe Aurora is pregnant!. And the baby is Sebastian’s. Who the hell is Sebastian and how can she do this to Adrian. Why did she treat him like this? Made him fall in love with her when she was pregnant with the baby of another. If she would have come clean and tell him the truth, he would have moved on, with me.

This whole situation is hard to be honest, I now understand Aurora because if our parents find out about it, they would have forgotten all their feelings and forced her to do something she wouldn't have wanted. Our parents reputations are important to them and the only reason they forced us into this marriage is to build some reputation.

I now feel very sad for Aurora, and If she is in my body, I wonder what she will be doing now? Will she think of her baby? Wait why didn't she tell me what was going on beforehand? That would have been better than she running away like a thief while leaving her garbage for me to handle! But what happened to the baby though because I never heard of her delivery or even having a single child. What's going on? Is this one of the consequences the old man talked about? I need to speak with my sister because I know she must be confused about everything! But no, I will drag this out as much as possible. She's in another country and better than way.

I guess I have to get into the Aurora character, so no one will suspect my identity. Whenever I see that old man, I must thank him for this gift. Life gave me a second chance and I won't waste it by doing what everyone expects from me. Instead, I will nurture my relationship with Adrian and build our love for one year.

With this resolution in my mind, I deleted the text message from Sebastian and hide the diary deep in her drawer in other to not let the evidence get revealed.

I walked out of the room only to see my parents talking to the event planner for the wedding with so much joy in their faces. I wish they were that excited for me when I replaced my sister in the past.

I watch them do their thing before they notice me.

"Aurora darling, come here." My mum says to me with a bright smile on her face, I walked up to her and sit down beside her after greeting everyone.

"Aurora this is the wedding planner for your wedding and Wedding planner, this is my beautiful and elegant first daughter who is also the bride" my mum gushes over Aurora, no surprise there. I wonder how she will react if she finds out who I really am.

I smile sheepishly as we converse about the final touches for the wedding. We do everything according to the planner because I could care less about this wedding and this is actually aligning with the true Aurora because she was also not excited about getting married to Adrian.

After the planning was completed, we walked the planner outside only for me to see the man that is supposed to be my soon to be husband staring back at me, like I did something to him. Oh no!.
