It’s been two days since I spoke to Rebecca. After my last encounter with her, she had been avoiding me. I had called and texted her a couple of times, but my calls went straight to voicemail.
I thought of giving her some space to process the whole engagement drama, as well as time to plan the impromptu wedding with Sebastian. But no matter how hard I tried, I couldn’t stay away from her.
My thoughts were centered around her, I woke up thinking about her and went to bed with thoughts of her lingering on my mind. Staying away from her was impossible, that was a fact. So, before I knew it, I found myself driving to her house.
My car was parked in front of her gate, and I stayed put, patiently waiting for her to come out. That way, she wouldn’t be able to avoid me anymore.
