Benjamin called his mother on the phone and asked her to buy a skirt for Evie. Angela didn't have to be told twice, and her driver was in H&M in less than half an hour to deliver her son's order.
Angela is a lot calmer now after talking to her husband. At five in the afternoon, she continued choosing the floral arrangement for her son's surprise party.
Ben handed Evie the skirt, and she hid in the closet to wear it. After that, she stepped out of the closet to get the earrings she left.
"Get your things. I'll be taking you home," Ben said, blocking Evie's way by placing his hand on her stomach.
Evie cleared her throat at the hand placement and turned away from Ben. "I am not going home," she said in a sultry voice that her boyfriend likes.
