Chapter Four

Freya The hatred in his eyes was all I needed to know that he despised the highness. Not me, but the woman I am impersonating. “I am not here for you. In fact, I don't want our marriage to hold." My words weighed heavy on my chest. Tears began to form in my eyes out of its will. I know for sure that what I feel is not my emotion but that of the Princess. She must have loved the professor so much. He doesn't deserve her if this is how he makes her feel. He scoffed as if my words were noise to his eyes. “Listen princess, I don't hate you. But I can't marry you. You are weak and can't handle being me or the family I will bring you into. It is best if you find some other dorky prince that will sprinkle sunshine into your life," he said with a stern voice, releasing his grip on my neck. I frowned at him, hating the way he belittled the princess as a weakling. I disliked being called weak. “I am not weak. You are not desirable to begin with," I blurted out before I could stop my mouth. My emotions were overriding my words and serving it without remorse. His brows knitted in confusion as his hands positioned at the sides of my head trapping me in between them. “What did you just say?" He asked darkly. My palms began to sweat from his closeness. I take back my words about him not being desirable. He is a full package of attraction. “I only stated a matter of fact." I raised my chin, challenging him further. Even though he has the face of a sculptured God. I won't let him belittle me or the princess. “Don't get on my nerves, Freya," he grumbled, leaning forward until our faces were inches apart. I stared back at him, determined to prove that I wasn't afraid of his domineering aura. However, keeping eye contact with him for so long brought a flashing memory back. His scent filled my nostrils and for some reason it smelled familiar. A racy image of me panting flashes in my mind and I breathe onto his face in shock. ‘What was that?' Another memory of strange hands roaming over my waist, lips buried at the nape of my neck. Then heavy breathing mixed with moans echoes in my head. Realizing how close he was, my heart began to pump with adrenaline. “Please...can you step away. I can't breathe..." I managed to say, my eyes flickering away from his. “If you are not here for me then go back home. I am pretty sure your family must be panicking about your disappearing. And don't try to attend my classes. I will walk you out if you do," he said and stepped away from me. I heaved out in silence, gripping my dress tight as I tried to stay my heartbeat. “Walked down the hall and you will find an exit. There is a car ready to talk you..." “Who said I am going back home?" I interrupted him, pressing my lips into a tight line. “You don't have a choice here, princess. Go home and put your father at peace. I won't repeat myself again," he warned but his words sounded more like a threat. “I am staying here and that is final. You can't make me do what I don't want to do," I said with a serious tone. I don't know what the princess's family is like or what her deal is with this arrogant guy. My main aim is to find out the truth and why my mother sent me here. Plus, Lilia is a student here and I have to make her regret what she did to my family. Because of her scheme, my parents were wrongly killed. I have no idea whether my siblings are alive or not. In order to get my revenge and clear my family's name, I have to fight for my stay here. “Let's make a deal. If I pass the academy's four entrance test, I get to stay. If I don't, I will leave and never show my face in front of you," I gambled firmly. He smirked cynically and took a stood forward. “Deal. But let me warn you princess, The academy's test is not something you can pull off. I will give you a chance to leave now and retain your freedom to visit the school anytime you want." “I am going to take the entrance test, Professor Grant. Be prepared to be amazed by me," I challenged him without holding back. All my life I have trained to take the school's test. Back at the pack, I heard stories from those who took the test. And how difficult it is for any ordinary werewolf to pass. But I am not any ordinary werewolf, I might be an Omega but I have the zeal of a hunting lion. “Alright, I will assign a dorm room to you. Tomorrow is the entrance test you better not disappear before then," he said coldly. I turned the knob of the door and let myself out. The moment I stepped out of the room, I felt a sudden peace engulf me. Being in the same space with that man made me feel uncomfortable. Especially when he trapped me against the wall. I haven't felt so hot from being in the same space with a man. Better still, I don't like his overbearing attitude. He is so mean. “Can you lift your feet and walk smart? What has gotten into you?" He grumbled behind me and I jumped in fear. “You scared me. I didn't know you were following me." I placed my hand on my chest, glancing at him in annoyance. “Did you leave your brain at home while coming her?" He asked rudely. “Are you calling me a crackhead?" I slightly raised my voice, pissed by his words. “You are not being smart right now, Princess," he muttered sarcastically, closing the space between us. “And it pisses me off to know you will be my wife someday," he said and my heart skipped a bit. “What...do you mean I will be... your wife? Didn't you just refuse to marry me earlier?" I stuttered as I felt my cheeks burn hot. “Yes, I did. But you know better than anyone that we will end up getting married no matter how many times I refuse your father's marriage proposal. We are stuck to each other, Princess. So don't do things that will piss me off," he muttered with a frown on his face. I opened my mouth to reply him but he sealed it shut with an unexpected kiss. The moment his lips touched mine, a memory I had forgotten flooded back and the night of the festival came pouring in. The kiss, the touch, and the feeling of being screwed and my shameless moans all came pouring down. And that was when I remembered, the man I had a one night stand with was him. Professor Grant was my one-night stand that night at the hotel.
