Lucas's POV:
I started to follow that person. HE stopped in front of the receptionist's desk. I'm sure they were here to exchange some important papers because HE had some papers in hand. I couldn't see HIS face because HE was wearing a black hoodie, and the lights were off since it was already late.
HE started searching for something on the receptionist's desk, and I wondered what important papers HE could find there, as everything important is locked away. I went behind HIM, twisted both HIS hands behind them, held HIS hands tightly with my left hand, and covered HIS mouth with my right hand from behind.
At first, HE didn't try to release themselves, but I started to breathe heavily without knowing why. When I got slightly distracted, HE hit my nose with the back of their head, and in pain, I released HIM. I stepped back and held my nose with my right hand.
HE turned around, and that's when I noticed it wasn't a he but 'she'.
I didn't know what to do. I was hearing some drums, which I guess was my heartbeat. She was beautiful, and I was sure she wasn't wearing any makeup. As it was dark, I couldn't notice her other features, but she had a shape like an Indian goddess. Yes, she was Indian.
What the hell am I even thinking? She looked at me for some time, then turned, took a file from the cupboard in the receptionist's desk, put the paper inside that file, placed it back in the cupboard, and locked it. Then she started to walk towards the entrance.
What the hell? She just tried to murder me… okay, not murder, but she attacked me, and now she's leaving like she didn't do anything.
When I was about to call her, I heard Varun's voice. He was searching for me. Let's see how she escapes from here. But then she did something that I didn't expect.
When she heard Varun's voice, she stopped in her tracks. She turned and looked at me. Without any warning, she took something from her hoodie and placed it on my mouth. No, it wasn't chloroform, but a plaster.
Yeah, she plastered my mouth and then started to drag me with her. Who is she? She isn't afraid at all. She started to murmur something under her breath, and I tried to hear it. She was successful in dragging me outside the building, but she took me to the back door instead of the front. I wasn't in the mood to escape, and I knew Varun would find me soon. I could hear her murmuring a little.
"i***t, what the hell is he doing here at this time? Because of that i***t Varun, I have to drag this big Munchkin with me. What can I do with him? Can I sell him on the black market?"
My eyes widened at the last word. Who is she? Is she some mafia leader? But then, how come I don't know her? And how in the world does she know Varun?
Wait! I missed something. What? What? What?
Yeah. Munchkin… Big Munchkin. Did she just call me Big Munchkin? How dare she?
Enough is enough. I stopped mid-way, and because of the sudden jerk, she collided with me, making my heart skip a beat. After a few seconds, she looked at me with a warning look. But I wasn't afraid of her.
Okay, maybe I was a little afraid because of her craziness. But I didn't give up. I stood strong and glared at her. Sorry, tried. I tried to glare at her.
Aadhira's POV:
This Munchkin is trying to glare at me, but I knew he was afraid of me. Of course, everyone is afraid of Aadhira. I know how to get him out of here.
I took the small knife from my hoodie, which I carry all the time because of my family. When Munchkin noticed my knife, his eyes widened. He looked at me, then at the knife. He raised his hands in the air. I smirked, put the knife back inside my hoodie, and started to drag him again. This time he didn't stop and started to follow me like a lost puppy.
We came near the back gate, and now we had to climb the gate and jump to the other side. I climbed the gate and jumped to the other side. It's a black steel gate with a square design that makes it easy to climb. I also came in using this gate. I looked at the Munchkin and signaled him to jump.
I didn't tie his hands, so it should be easy for him to climb. He looked at me for some time and simply opened the gate and walked through. I looked at him with a confused expression, and that's when I noticed that the back gate was not locked. I had literally wasted my energy climbing the 6-foot gate twice.
Munchkin gave me a pitying look, and I really wanted to kill him. He could have stopped me from climbing the gate. I'm leaving him alone now because I have no time. I dragged him to the corner of the street and sat on the steps of an unknown house. He looked around and then at me.
I looked at him fully. He was wearing an ash-colored t-shirt and dark blue jeans. He looked handsome, and I was drooling over him shamelessly.
Stop! What are you doing, Aadhira? You shouldn't drool over a stranger like this.
“So, do you work in that office?" I asked him, looking at his shoes to avoid drooling again. But he didn't reply. How dare he? I waited a few more seconds, and still, he didn't answer. I looked at him and saw that he was pointing his right hand's index finger toward his mouth.
That's when I realized that I had plastered his mouth. Wait, let me rephrase the situation. What is going on here...How can I expect him to speak when I was the one who plastered his mouth? And, I'm the one who kidnapped him.
