“What is it, Mom?” Lana asked as she stepped out of the bathroom, already dressed in her pajamas.
“Lana, did you scream in pain earlier?”
Lana knew why her mother came. She must have heard Lana cry out when her arm got scraped by the window.
“Scream? Who screamed in pain, Mom?” Leon looked at Lana strangely.
“Yes. I fell asleep earlier, and when I woke up, I wanted to close the window. Maybe because I was still sleepy, my arm accidentally hit the window and it bled a little.”
“Is that true, Lana?” Leon checked her arm. There was indeed a bandage on it.
“Next time, be more careful. If you’re sleepy, just continue studying tomorrow. Now go to sleep. Leon, go back to your room. Don’t forget to turn off your lights.”
“Yes, Mom.” Lana looked at Leon and smiled. Their mother left the room
