Noah walked into the building, while Daniel observed every corner of the building.
"Noah, why are we here? This place looks more like an old hospital, but it's really creepy." Daniel looked a little scared.
"This is indeed a hospital that was built to treat patients with mental disorders."
"What?!" Daniel's eyes widened. "What are you doing here?"
"I'm here to see someone," Noah said flatly.
Soon, a middle-aged man in a white coat with a name tag on his left side approached them from the opposite direction.
"Hello, Doc."
"Noah, you're here again? And who's this?" The doctor looked at Daniel.
"I'm Daniel, Noah's friend. Are you the doctor?" Daniel asked.
"I'm Dr. Steve, Noah's brother's doctor." The doctor shook Daniel's hand, and Daniel shook his hand back.
"Noah, what's wrong with your brother? Didn't you say before that your brother was with your father? Then why is your brother in this hospital now?"
Dr. Steve invited Noah and Daniel into his office. They entered a room that wasn't very big. Noah and Daniel sat directly in front of Dr. Steve.
"Doc, about what we talked about yesterday, I'm currently trying to get some extra money. Dr. Steve, please contact a doctor who can treat my brother better."
"Yes, Noah." Dr. Steve sighed briefly. "I will continue to try for your brother's recovery, but your brother does need a better place of care, and a doctor who is truly an expert. What happened to your brother when he was young still has a profound effect on him, especially since he also knows all the secrets about his family's life."
"Yes, Doctor, especially since my father's death. My brother really can't accept all this."
Daniel held Noah's arm. "Noah, why didn't you tell me about this? So, you've been leaving after getting money for the race because of your brother's treatment?" Daniel's face was truly sad as he looked at Noah.
"Yes, Dan. In this world, besides you and Cilla, the only family I have is my brother, but he doesn't recognize me at all."
"I suggest that if possible, you take your brother to a new place with better care, Noah. That way, maybe your brother will recover faster."
Noah thought for a moment. "A new place? But that's impossible. The costs would be much higher, and where would we live?" Noah's face looked confused.
"Noah, don't you want to ask your mother for help?" Daniel asked.
Suddenly, Daniel received a sharp glance from Noah. "Never, and don't you ever mention her name. I won't beg that woman for anything."
"Then what?" Daniel asked again.
"Doc, just bring in a doctor who can treat my sister. As for the cost, I'll get it."
Soon, a female nurse with a worried look on her face arrived. She reported that a patient named Nathali had tried to commit suicide. She had found a knife while running towards the nurses' station.
"Nat!" Noah immediately got up from his seat and ran to find his sister. Dr. Steve and Daniel quickly followed Noah.
When he arrived, Noah saw his sister being held by several male nurses.
"I want to see my father, let me go! I want to see my father!" she screamed hysterically.
Noah watched her until tears fell from his eyes. His sister still couldn't accept that their father was also gone. Noah walked over to his sister and hugged Nathali tightly.
"Sis, you have to accept all of this. I'm Noah, your little brother. I really miss the old Nathali." Noah sat on the floor, hugging his sister.
Daniel, who was watching from a distance, also cried. He hadn't expected Noah to be hiding all this—besides the pain he had felt before, he was still hiding other sorrows.
"Let go!" Nathali's hands struck Noah roughly. Noah, who received such a blow, could only remain silent; he continued to hold his sister tightly.
"Please quickly get the injection for Nathali."
A nurse took something from nearby. Then the doctor injected something into Nathali's arm. A few seconds later, Nathali stopped hitting Noah and slowly closed her eyes.
"Take Nathali to her room and let her rest."
"Let me carry my sister." Noah carried his sister's body and took Nathali to her room. Noah kissed his sister's forehead after laying her down and covering her sleeping body with a blanket.
The three of them left the room. The doctor would do his best to restore Nathali's mental health.
Noah and Daniel asked permission to go home. Daniel tried to contact someone so that Noah could compete tonight, and Noah got his opponent.

That morning at school, Lana was sitting alone. Lana didn't see her curly-haired friend in class. Lana had guessed that her curly-haired friend wouldn't come to school because there were no more exams.
"She must be having fun with her boyfriend right now. Typical!"
Soon Lana's cell phone rang, and it turned out to be her best friend. "Hello, Lana. Are you still at school?" she asked.
"Yes, why? You didn't come to school, where did you go?"
"I'm at home. I don't feel like going to school today. Ouch! Be careful, honey, my hand hurts!" cried the curly-haired girl.
"What are you doing? And is that your boyfriend?"
"Yes, I'm at home with him, and we're cooking together. Come over if you want! You don't need to go to class because today's lessons are a headache."
"You're crazy!" Lana quickly hung up the phone. Lana looked annoyed. Why would her best friend call her and tell her to skip school?
Lana grabbed her bag when she heard the school bell ring. She walked lazily out of the school building. Lana's private car was parked right in front of the main entrance.
From now on, Lana was being closely watched by her mother, who had instructed the driver not to leave Lana's school until she came home. So Lana was like a bird without wings.
"Hey, wait!" someone shouted from behind Lana as she was about to get into her car.
Lana turned around to see who was calling her, and when she realized who it was, she immediately turned away again, ignoring him.
"s**t!" Noah ran and quickly grabbed Lana's arm before she could get into her car.
"Let go! What do you want?" Lana tried to free herself from Noah's grip.
"I just want to talk to you for a moment. Why do you seem so upset with me? What did I do wrong?"
"You're wrong—"
"Sorry, don't bother Miss Lana. You'd better leave!" Suddenly, Lana's personal driver came out and tried to chase Noah away so he wouldn't get close to Lana.
