Chapter 3

Akashi nodded a little before closing his eyes and sighing in content. He curled up into a ball and began to doze off, even and calm heaths escaped through his parted lips.

"Goodnight Raspberry..."

'I could get used to this' was Akashi's final thought before being embraced by the dark abyss

RavenWood Academy-

Demon/Autumn Dorms

[9th August 9:55]

Akashis P. O. V

"Hey sleepyhead! Wake up, I need to go go to the student help office, You stay here alright? I brought up some breakfast, it's on my computer desk, ill only be fifteen minutes" The energetic Roommate smiled happily, patting Akashi's already messed up bedhair as he left the Dorm room with a skip on his step. Akashi yawned and stretched his arms at the same time was he swung his legs over the bedside.

He looked around and let out a tired sigh. 'Too early for this' he grunted, growing curious about what was for breakfast. He didn't want to get out if bed, much less walk to the desk and eat, it would too much effort for the first few minutes of being awake. His head jolted towards the door when he heard three soft knocks.

Akashi hoped they would leave, they would try once again later if it was so important, but the knocking never ceased. Whoever the person knocking was, they were brutally relentless, too much for Akashi's liking. With an irritated sigh, Akashi stood up and stalked towards the door, hesitance was clear in his strides.

He opened the door slightly, so he could peak through the small gap, only to be surprised when his gaze landed on a taller male, it of course had to be the one and the only terrifying person Akashi couldn't get used to seeing. Takeshi, the Dorm leader. The stronger demon smiled faintly, but in a hurry, Akashi slammed the oak door shut again. Terror ran though his veins as he Hid under his bed sheets, clinging onto his pillow and tighty squeezed his eyes closed.

Another knock echoed through the Dorm room, leaving akashi completely stiff. He couldn't help but stay curled up, leaving the door alone. He didn't know Takeshi enough to talk to him by himself, where was Ruki? How long had it be? When would Takeshi leave? Would he ever leave?

Finally, Rukis cheery voice greeted the vicious demon, and the door opened with a creak.

"Raspberry? Are you alright?" The blondes footsteps got closer and closer to akashi, who could help but hold his breath. A hand was placed on Akashi's hip, from above the plain white sheets. "Raspberry? Are you scared of Takeshi?"

"I-I don't know what you're talking about.." the red heads unstable voice came out, going from normal to high Pitched in the middle of his reply. He clung onto his fluffy pillow tighter, adamant that he wasn't scared of the giant male, when in actual fact he was.

"Come on, raspberry~ We can hang out with Haruka and Quinn if you talk to him, he just wants to ask a few questions from the principals behalf. He'll stay away from you if that's what you really want?" The rommmate tried to reason, sitting on the edge of the bed, rubbing circles on Akashi's hip. Akashi peaked his head above the covers, looking directly at Ruki, as if challenging him, would he stick to what he said or not?

"Do you promise?"

"Well, if he doesn't stay away, you won't answer his questions, so he has no choice, Dorm leader or not he can't force and anxious student to sit infront of him and answer his questions, now can he however, truth be told, I doubt he'd do anything to forcefully make you uncomfortable, have a little faith in him" Ruki tried his best to convince Akashi, who still seemed unsure about the whole thing. Akashi's slight went from Ruki to Takeshi, to Ruki again.

"You'll stay here?" The anxious red asked quietly.

"'course, Raspberry, I don't think Haruka would be very happy knowing I left you in an uncomfortable position by yourself, besides I have to keep my eye on Takeshi, If he does anything bad I have permission to beat the crap out of him!" Ruki grinned sadistically at Takeshi who had an unreadable face. He only raised an eyebrow at Ruki, clearly underestimating him, or maybe his strength was just that much more powerful than Rukis. Akashi shuffled under the sheets until he was sat up straight and facing Takeshi who was sat on Rukis bed.

"May I start?" the devil asked, putting one knee over the other and crossing his arms over his chest in a strict mannered way. He reminded akashi of a business man.

"Mhm"

"The first Question, is who are your parents?"

"My mother is named Yui Suzuki, I don't know much about my father, His name is Shouta Sato. Me, mom and dad never got along so they divorced, my mom threatened my dad, or I think anyways, so I stayed with my mom... I haven't seen my dad but... I don't think he's human.. " Akashi explained, a sad look appeared on his features, he missed his dad, his dad was the best, and despite any arguments with akashis mother, his father still tried his best to make him happy... Akashi could only wish of seeing him again.

"You mean to say that's what your mother threatened him about?" Takeshi checked, writing it down on a piece if paper, which was going to be most likely used to give to the Principle.

"Yeah... What other reason would there be, it'd explain my powers too..." Akashi smiled faintly, still remembering the memories he had with his father.

"You're quite right about that. Question two, why did your powers show yesterday, and all of a sudden too-"

"Hey wait aren't these a little too personal, hes only been his a day, well barley!" Ruki interrupted, his eyebrows furrowed as he pursed his lips. Akashi put my hand on his, giving ruki a gesture of reassurance. 'These questions would be normal for a supernatural academy' the red head thought.

"A boy named sanders, he interrupted the class that day, the teacher had a hard time calming him down, and I was the class representative so i decided to help out. Though he pushed my buttons, and crossed my line, I couldn't hold myself back so with no regrets I punch him. It was clear to everyone in that classroom that sander had the intent to kill me, and I couldn't do anything about it, that's when the chains appeared... And crushed him to death" Takeshi stared a little, out of surprised. Maybe from the way akashi used the word 'crushed' it was quite a disturbing and violent word choice, but it described the scene perfectly. The mangled body that sat on the top of Akashi that day still haunted him and remains fresh in his mind.

"Jesus f**k" Ruki snickered as he leant his head on his kneecap, since his leg was braught up to be leant up on the bed. "Violent much" All akashi did was send Ruki a look that red 'You're telling me?'

"You know, Akashi, You might just be one of the strongest in the school with abilities that can immediately murder someone" The Dorm leader laughed out with a sincere smile. Akashi couldn't understand what good his powers could do, since they were clearly not used for peace reasons. Though maybe there was someway he could adapt his powers, and change them to be less violent.

"Maybe..." Akashi hummed.

"Third and final question, this one is a little emotional so please bear with me, alright? Akashi..." The demon narrowed his eyes at akashi, clearly meaning it was serious and important.

"Yes?"

"Do you want to see your father again? The principle spoke with you mother, but she never told him everything, so he wanted to ask you, he assumed your father left, but didn't know why, and now we know, he wants to ask if you want to see him again." the male opposite akashi explained. Akashi's face lit up as he stood up abruptly. He glared down at the head devil, his eyes wanting to ask if it was all a sick joke, however, Takeshi glared right back at him, as if saying it wasn't a sick joke, he was serious.

"That's possible?"

"Humans thought it was impossible for the supernatural to exist, but we do, so finding your father is nothing less than entirely possible. It would just take some time" Takeshi explained, adjusting his suit jacket and fluffing his hair back up, not wanting to lose his natural charm.

"I want to see my father again..." Akashi pleaded. "Please!" his eyes fogged up as tears pooled up in his eyes, threatening to fall at anytime, unannounced.

"Don't worry little demon, we'll have it sorted right away, please expect good news and your species results anytime soon" the larger male chuckled, tilting his head slightly, only showing a little weakness infront of the two weaker devil's. But all three of them were shocked by the sudden bang of the door being barged open.

"Sir, One of our guys is being targeted by two of Summer Dorm leaders vampires" the person had short gray hair that swept back, he was hella f*****g tall too, but seemed a little... Lazy... Like all he wanted to do was sleep.

"Damn it, I wanted to get to know our new devil friend, nevertheless, I'll be back, I want to get to know you, Akashi~ come On Landon!" Takeshi purred out with a seductive sparkle in his eye as he kicked him lips. Akashi looked at him, wondering what the stronger demon wanted to do with the weaker amateur devil. The giant left the Dorm, leaving akashi to sigh out in relief.

"Akashi, honey bear!~ Did the big meanie hurt you?" Haruka pouted, rushing into the Dorm and englusfing Akashi in a tight hug full of love. Quinn skipped into the room with a fluffy penguin Teddy, akashi stared at the plush, it's eyes appeared to look back. The only thought he had, was that he wanted a Teddy, a bunny.

"He wasn't mean, he just wanted to ask some questions about before I came to the academy." Akashi replied honestly, looking up at haruka who peered down at him. Akashi didn't wonder why he felt short anymore, he knew why, it was because everyone else was taller than the average height.

"You want a Teddy?" Quinn wondered out loud. Akashi stared at him for a while. 'was it that obvious?' he thought. He really only realised that using his pillow as something hug wasn't suitable, since he had nothing to put his head on when he slept. Ruki walked away into the Dorm room bathroom, pulling out his phone in the process. "Yeah... It kinda was obvious"

"I said that out loud? Yikes.. I'm losing the plot" Akashi sighed out, falling backwards against the bed. But he soon remembered that his birthday was in October, and October was in around two to three months.

"You're looking a little pale there, Honey bear" Haruka pointed out sadly. He was seemingly worried but akashi, but akashi didn't notice. The tears that threatened to fall earlier while Takeshi was in the Dorm, finally fell. As much as akashi tried to hide it, he couldn't fool the two boys who were present in the room.

"Is this about the questions Takeshi asked?" Quinn wondered, his face fell, he too was distressed about the state his new friend was in. Akashi wiped his eyes with his long sleeved nightshirt sleeves. His didn't want to cause a commotion, but he was just so relieved he'd get a chance to see his father.

"He said he could find my father, and that i can see him again" The red headed boy sobbed out, crying happy tears. "I haven't seen him for so long since my mom divorced him and kicked him out, But I get to see him again!" Akashi looked up at Haruka and Quinn, his face showed nothing but relief and joy. Haruka and Quinn looked at akashi in surprise, but they both wrapped their arms around the smaller boy, happy that he gets to see his father soon.

"Takeshi is a lot nicer than his appearance and outer shell makes him seem. Though he can be extremely dangerous and he can go on rampage when you make him mad, but if you treat him with respect and don't make him mad, then he won't hurt you, in fact he'll protect you" Ruki gave us a goofy smile, and hid his phone in his jeans pocket. "He seems even more interested in you"

"He what?!" Quinn screamed, stomping his foot "Isn't that bad?! Demons are way too possessive of people they're interested in!"

"Hmm... Maybe so, but since Akashi can't control his powers willingly, hes vulnerable to the bullies and more attacks, Maybe having Takeshi around him will protect him. And since our Raspberry will be close to Takeshi, No one will dare mess with him" Ruki concluded, shoving a cut up piece of pancake drizzled on chocolate syrup into his mouth.

"Hes right, perhaps maybe even Takeshi could help honey bear control his powers." Haruka wondered, sitting next To akashi on the bed, wrapping his arm around his honey bears shoulder. Akashi leaned against Haruka shoulder, closing his eyes as he drowned in the comfort.

"So... Who what that boy with Takeshi? The one with the gray hair, he was really tall? And wearing a long sleeved, oversized sweater?" Akashi asked, remembering that the boys name was Landon, he was huge, just as tall as Takeshi maybe. A second in command maybe? Or a helper? Or maybe one of Takeshis friend keeping his eye out for any fights.

"That's Landon Winters, he's basically Takeshis second in command, a helper or whatever. The dude likes to sleep all the time, but there's not a single piece of information he can't get, he even goes outside of his comfort zone just to get what he needs, the dudes a psycho, but nice nonetheless" Haruka sighed out as quinn helped himself to a seat on the couch, turning on a games console and grabbing a controller. Akashi could help but think all of the Dorm leaders and the second in command were good looking, it was surprising no one was falling to their feet for them.

"They're all crazy" akashi whined out.

"But then again, so are we" Ruki grinned "Just in a different way"

'different way alright' Akashi smiled to himself
