Chapter 2

"Sure..." Akashi sounded unsure but he realised quickly that if it wasn't Ruki he wouldve had no idea what was going on, and The energetic male had cleaned his smaller wound and comforted him, something no one did apart from his mother. Akashi frowned at not seeing his mother, but maybe he would get the chance to in the future. "Friends" akashi confirmed.

'At least we both get something out of this friendship'

"Awesome! We're gonna have so much fun, I can't wait!" Ruki cheered, leaning back on the chair at a dangerous angle, and shoving his arms up in the air. His reaction made Akashi chuckle a little, but being determined to stay on his guises, he covered his mouth, not wanting his new friend to see.

"So.. Uhm... How do things work here?" Akashi asked honestly, if he was going to stay at the school he needed to know how things worked, otherwise it would be like walking into a fight with no fighting experience what-so-ever. Akashi wanted to be as prepared as possible, he didn't want to do something or mess with someone and be haunted by it after.

"Well. There are four dorms, this college facility is meant for only demons, Shapeshifters, Vampires, werewolves, among them are also unspecified." He stood up and grabbed a piece of paper and black inked pen, drawing down the four categories "The Four species and the exceptions each have a dorm made for them and what they need daily. Take devils for example, they're unpredictable and hot heads, so furniture and walls are reinforced." he wrote four names below the previous four things he wrote down.

Akashi read each word silently, the vampires dorm was named Summer, The Shapeshifters dorm was named Spring, The Demons dorm Was named Autumn and the Werewolves dorm was named Winter. Akashi decided he liked how they never used complicated dorm names and stuck to something simple and easy to remember.

"As I'm sure you realised, they kept to the seasons because they're simple. Despite being a college and supervising facility, the students get to do pretty much what they want as long as they stick to the very few guidelines, which are as stated, One is that killing is absolute prohibited, Two, is that we have to stick inside the perimiter of the facility otherwise our freedom might be lost forever. Three is that we have to go to daily checkups to keep an eye on our phsycial, mental and emotion health due to some of our abilities being affected by them, Four is that the leader of each dorm, usually they're the strongest within the dorm, has to have meetings with the principle daily so they can address any problems and so on. And finally Five, if you have any problems you have to speak to the dorm leader rather than the teachers."

"Woah... Wait, so rule number one... If they have to have that rule the threats here must be serious!" Akashi furrowed his eyebrows and played with the sleeves of his hoodie, visibly uncomfortable. He couldn't help but wonder if things were that serious enough to even include that rule. Then again, four dangerous species and then the savage unspecified creatures... Akashi began to understand truly how much trouble he was in.

"Your case is special, they think you're a demon but have further tests to run so they know for definite, either way, your little chain show they were talking about left a big impression! And you can be considered one of the strongest here after all" Ruki patted Akashis head softly, occasionally ruffling his already messy hair, despite Akashi not wanting his hair to be turned into a birds nest he leaned I to Rukis hand subconsciously. "Ah, so you're the type that likes affection!"

"I don't know what you're talking about" Akashi huffed out, pouting. He crossed his arms in a small child's tantrum and gave Ruki the impression that he truly did not know what the blonde was talking about, but Ruki new better. Ruki could already read Akashi like a book - Though understanding Akashi was fairly easy since akashi liked to think of himself as a simple person, as much as he liked to think that, he knew deep down it just wasn't true.

"Of course you don't Raspberry, Now it's time for dinner, and I'm sure after everything they put you through you must be hungry and tired, let's go get some food quickly and come back?" Ruki asked, really only wanting Akashi's opinion on the matter. Akashi nodded and stood up with a straight back, following after Ruki who had spun around and began walking past the door and down the hallway.

Food Hall

[8th August 16:48]

Akashis P. O. V

"Pizza! God I love pizza, do you? Please say you do its so f*****g amazing!~" Ruki hummed out in delight as he took a bite of the pizza slice while he and Akashi were finding somewhere to sit. That was until Ruki spin his head around, noticing that someone was calling him, "Quinn! My adorable little moon, How have you been?" Ruki asked his friend, beckoning akashi to sit next to them, even if akashi felt awkward or like he was intruding.

"I'm doing alright, how are you? And who's this? I haven't seen you around here before you must be new" the boy supposedly named Quinn looked Akashi up and down. Akashi couldn't help but let the anxiety overpower him as the boy opposite with blue hair practically judged him.

"I'm awesome, this is my new roommate, Akashi, y'kno the famous boy with the chains and shiz, be nice or I'll destroy your penguin plush toy. He's just getting used to things, you know how it was on the first day" Ruki waved off, smiling while taking another bite of pizza, Akashi couldn't help but lose his appetite, though he didn't want to let ruki down, since pizza was the blondes favourite food, or so he said.

"He's adorable!" The blue headed boy gushed out, grabbing Akashis hands from the other side of the table. "Akashi, be our friend, yeah? Not that you get a say in the matter, you're Rukis roommate so you're our friend for life!" Quinn gave us a toothy grin, Akashi tapped the floor with his foot, nervously.

"Oh, I never told you, I'm a demon, obviously since I was in the Autumn Dorms. Quinn here is a werewolf-"

"And yours truly is a vampire~" A seductive voice joined in on the conversation. "Hey babes, Newbie, my names Haruka Sakai"

"And this is us, the Gayest Trio in the whole academy. Don't worry, while Quinn is rather plain looking, let him summon his ears and tail and he's poof not so normal anymore." Ruki Assured Akashi, yet All akashi could do was smile and nod as he noticed more and more people entering the Food Hall. His uncomfort grew and weighed down on him like a bag of bricks.

"Angel you don't need to be uncomfortable, though I guess being in a room with strangers who could potentially injure you within the blink of an eye is rather uncomforting... If anything happens we'll be here to back you up, Hun" The light brown haired boy put his hand on Akaashi's, hoping it'd give the red head even the littlest bit reassurance.

"Hey look! New meat-"

"Alright you little Shitface Wolf! That's quite enough out of you, go back and sit with your pathetic doggy friends before I suck the life out of you!" Haruka huffed, pointing at a table of boys who had dark hair and large body builds. However, even with a small telling off from Haruka, the male went to sit back down. "Sorry quinn, you're not a doggy, I promise"

"If you're wondering, Harukas one of the best looking guys here, that's why people listen to him and respect him! If he worked his magic he'd have you down on your knees melting like you're a hundred degrees! " akashis roommate whispered into his ear. All akashi could do was stare in shock, honestly it wasn't unexpected but somehow it still surprised him. In an academy of dangerous inhuman creatures with large builds and strength of God knows what, Haruka had them all wrapped around his finger. It was crazy to think about.

"Well, when Ruki says people listen and respect our dear Haruka, there's one group of sexy guys who won't fall for his charms, no matter what" Quinn picked up a fry and nibbled on it before shoving it all in his mouth, chewing it, swallowing and then licking his lips in delight. "And those handsome men, would just so happen to be on that table right over there" Quinn changed the line of his sight over to a table of consisting of two twin looking werewolves, what looked to be around one demon and one vampire and a Shapeshifter. All of them gave off their own domineering aura which made you want to stay awar, Akashi took that as his warning to never go near them.

"The Demons name is Takeshi Iwasaki, the name means Fierce Warrior or something, which really suits him since he's literally the strongest dude here. Though to be honest That's mostly due to him having Satans blood, that's a story for another time though" Haruka sighed out, along with Ruki and Quinn. That small moment was when akashi finally took in everything he knew about the three boys he was sat with. Ruki was hyper and bubbly, Haruka was a little flirt but really caring too - like a mother, Quinn was a little like a child, he acted soft and was a lot less outgoing than the others.

"Uhm, so... They're friendly or.. " Akashi didn't quite known how to phrase his sentence without it coming out as harsh, and he didn't want anyone to get the wrong idea so at the end of his sentence, he trailed off.

"They can be, just, because of their high and mighty aura and gorgeous looks people find it hard to approach them. I mean they look like a ticking time bomb, say one wrong thing and not even a second later you'll be on a date with death. Actually, rule number one was out in place because of them" Ruki put his thumb to his chin in thought, his eyes glistened and shined as he seemed to remember what he wanted. Quinn gasped as he also seemed to reck what Ruki was talking about.

"Ohh... When there was that dude who thought he was the best, he bullied our poor Baby Quinn.." Haruka frowned, Pulling Quinn closer to him so he could embrace the smaller boy.

"Yeah, we were trying to fight the bastard off, but his power and strength was nothing but that of Indescribable... It was rather incredible really if I'm being honest. But then the wolf twins came to the rescue! But they killed him" Ruki cheered, frowning at the end, eating the last of his beloved pizza.

"And then let me guess, this is where the cliché story of, 'the bullied boy starts to have feelings for his saviours' comes in?" Akashi chuckles, tucking a few strands of hair behind his ear, honestly it seemed that abnormality in the academy was normal to everyone else so Akashi just went with it, But He froze when the three boys just stared at him, he couldn't help but wonder if he did something wrong, did he offend them? Hurt them in any way?

"Akashi..."

"You little honey bear -"

"Your laugh is so f*****g adorable Holy s**t! This is illegal! Someone call the authorities!" Ruki screeched so the whole Food hall could hear, Akashi felt his cheeks burn as he tried to hide from the stares.

"I wanna be as cute as you!" Quinn pouted, climbing over the table recklessly and sitting next to Akashi who had no idea what to do, and so as a result he sat where he was completely confused and feeling as awkward as ever.

"Quinn! Don't climb over tables, alright?" a mysterious voice called. The four Boys who were sat together looked for the source of the voice. It was a shock to all of them when they realised that one of the wolf twins was the one who called out to them.

"Oh my god..."

"Rather surprising-"

"Yessir!" Quinn called out, saluting at the the werewolf, making him smile and turn back around to talk to his friends or whatever they were to him.

"He totally has the hots for you" Haruka laughed out, putting one leg over the other and leaning his head on his hands. Ruki agreed while He pulled Akashi onto his lap, wrapping his arms around his roommate.

"Just one of the twins or both? Cuz I'd say both" the blonde roommate of Akashis pointed out, playing with Akashis hair, attempting to put a small braid into the red strands. Haruka sat still in thought for a while until he reached his conclusion.

"Both of the wolf alphas have a crush on the wolf runt-"

"Oh wow, another cliché" Akashi grinned sarcastically, making it obvious he was joking , but that didn't stop Quinn from gently punching Akashis arm. The red head didn't really feel it though, after being tasked with dealing with sanders abuse and punches for a long while, Quinns smaller punch was nothing.

"My life is full of clichés, get used to it demon boy" Quinn pouted.

"I apologise, I didn't mean it like that, sometimes clichés are good, you know what direction you'll turn so you can be ready for it, you'll know what to expect if it truly is a cliché, a cliché life is a good simple life" Akashi concluded, snapping his fingers as he leaned back, comfortably against Rukis chest.

"Oh! My bad you must be tired after everything, the principle likes to take drastic measures to gather us all up, see he's actually quite a nice guy and only want to look out for us. We might hate being here sometimes, but, we have everything we need, we aren't being hunted down or killed and we still have freedom" Ruki placed Akashi on the floor gently, he staggred a bit but leaned on the table for support.

"Jesus, you really must be tired if you're staggering around like that" Haruka furrowed his eyebrows in concern.

"Sorry, Unlike a lot of other people I kind of just get tired without warning so I cant control it..." Akashi looked down at the floor while Haruka stood up and wrapped his arms around Akashi gently.

"Get to your room and have a good rest, me and Quinn will see you tomorrow Honey Bear" with a small kiss on the forehead from Haruka and a tight hug from Quinn, Ruki took my hand and began walking towards the table with the Dorm leaders.

"We'll have to ask Takeshi first, since we're supposed to stay in the Food hall until the time passes by and then we head to our rooms, since we're going early we need permission, try not to worry, I promise he won't hurt you" Akashi's roommate held his hand as he made his way towards the Dorm leaders table, they really did look dangerous, Akashi couldn't help but quiver and shake.

"Takeshi?" Ruki kept a small distance between him and the stronger devil, nto wanting to invade his space, trying to keep things as polite as possible, it was clear To akashi that the reasoning behind Ruki being more polite than usual towards the other devil was since he felt Akashis hand shaking and he didn't want to accidentally subject Akashi to any violent behaviour.

"Yes Ruki?" the demon faced the two other boys

"Would it be possible to head to the dorm room a little early? Akashi is new here, we knew he would be tired but he started stumbling around a second ago" Akashi hid behind Ruki and held tightly onto the boys hoodie, not wanting to look at the intimidating Dorm leader any longer.

"Akashi Sato? -"

"Woah, so the mysterious chain demon really is here.."

"He looks smaller than I imagined.."

"Is he shy? That's cute"

"Blood sucker, Furballs, keep your mouth shut!" the demon demanded before turning back around to ruki, who was staring at the boys as if it was normal. "Ruki, keep an eye on him and make sure he gets some rest, stumbling around is probably not from being tired but more from stress"

"Jesus f**k, isn't that the boy who killed someone?!"

"Oi, I said shut up didn't I?!"

"Course! I'll keep a close eye on our Little Raspberry! Thanks Takeshi!" Ruki smiled, gave a small bow and dragged Akashi out of the Lunch Hall and through a maze of hallways which really only made Akashi more tired

Demon/Autumn dorms

[8th August 17:32]

Akashis P. O. V

"Here we are" Ruki announced, helping Akashi onto the cloud like embrace of the bed. Akashi couldn't help but enjoy and take in the fresh scent and he enjoyed the tender touch of the sheets on his skin. "The academys motto is 'Students first' or something, basically meaning our happiness and comfort is everything to them, the bed are of the finest quillity in existence but they're also some of the most expensive"

Akashi nodded a little before closing his eyes and sighing in content. He curled up into a ball and began to doze off, even and calm heaths escaped through his parted lips.

"Goodnight Raspberry..."

'I could get used to this' was Akashi's final thought before being embraced by the dark abyss
