“Why he is following or in simple words why Kara is after this senior?” Hellhorn found it strange that random senior came to help him in the middle of hunt. Now they were getting along for unseen mission.
For him it could be the fastest development. “Take it as if I offended the executive of the branch.” Mudda answered. He did not tell that he was restricted to not leave the continent at all.
He was constantly being watched. In case he showed some weakness he would be dead bird in the middle of the forest.
Telling this to the youth would not bring any changes so he decided not to scare him by revealing before the time.
“Then we are on the same boat just that your boat is bigger.” Hellhorn laughed. He liked to create some fool jokes for the sake of it. He was getting acquainted with the senior that released some of his tension.
The boundary of the first region was coming to its end.
Mudda caught the sight of monster. It was taking good nap under the sun. “Make your walk squishy. I will hunt this monster for you to occupy the relic. Its level three relic would be helpful for some time.” Mudda spoke and changes his posture slightly to avoid the splash of mud.
The monster moved its body from right to left which made the mud splash. Here in this region most of the monsters were nine to ten feet big. Compared to the height of the common players it was normal to hunt these monsters with the help of team.
Most players were seven feet while the senior and strong players were eight to nine feet big and burly.
Hellhorn nodded. There was nothing he could do to take part in the hunt instead of watching the senior doing most effort. Mudda did not give much time to the monster to think a way or curse the player. The monster simply could not understand when did the player appeared and what maddened high level player to hunt low level monster.
It was still shame for Mudda however there was no other choice. Senior players never hunt low level monsters for the sake of self-respect; they could guide the newbies or low keys.
Mudda gestured Hellhorn to come near the dead monster. He decided not to do the small task of getting the relic. Hellhorn looked at the senior ready to take his guidance.
“From the left to the lower abdomen make deep cut. The relic must be there.” Mudda clearly pointed the area. Hellhorn followed and sure enough found the shining yet soft relic. The hunt was done recently so the relic was soft, with the time the relics turned hard yet acceptable for the weapons in most cases.
It depended on the fact that the team did not damage the relic at time of gaining control on it or during the cutting the body of the monster.
“Since it is fresh your weapon could easily absorb it.” Mudda ordered him to upgrade the weapon first.
Hellhorn nodded and placed the relic on the weapon. The weapons were made with unknown technique that made them reliable for absorbing the relics. Presently none of the players were aware about the originators of these weapons because it was top secret of every company.
It was easy to destroy some company if the enemies get their hands on the top secret originators of weapons. Each company produced their own type of weapons with the special characteristics.
The improvement and the progress of the company depended on the capability of the weapons they originate. It was most basic concept and comes first in the priorities.
The weapons could surely decide the future of the company as well. There were some companies in the past. It was said that they were unable to protect their top secret and eventually got destroyed because of the rivals and their schemes.
The weapon absorbed the relic. The simple sword changed its form. The characteristics of the relic turned it in to flog. The relics bear the characteristics of the monsters so it was natural for weapons to follow the energy of the relic. The monster of this specific relic was known for using its tail as flog and it was the most natural way for the monster to survive.
For Mudda the shape of the weapon did not matter as long as the levels keep increasing. He had witnessed many oddly shaped weapons in the past.
As the weapon got one grade up, Hellhorn smiled. He felt his decision was not insane to join the senior. Usually it took quite effort to make the team agree for hunting monster for the purpose of upgrading weapons.
Mudda sighed purely. He was not happy at all after leaving the peaceful town and ending up in this continent again.
“Do you know about Gukan at the branch? Is he still working for the company?” Mudda asked Hellhorn. Gukan was level five player at the time Mudda left the continent.
The reason why he still remembered him was same. Gukan was one of those who could be trusted. He was energetic but lived with his rules. With the rough calculation Mudda was sure that the player must be around level ten or up after the ten years hunting.
Although Hellhorn was newbie however all newbies were given the list of all active players in the continent for the sake of company rules. The purpose of this rule was clear. The players should necessarily know the names of other contracted players with the company.
In case the enemy tried to plant spies in the field, the player could avoid it or inform the company. “Gukan is senior player if I correctly remember however he got seriously injured after the attack of enemy company. They attacked him when he was returning toward the branch last month.” Hellhorn spoke.
Mudda got shocked because it was rarest for enemies to attack on senior players unless the attack was done on the approval of some black sheep. Mudda did not want to accept it at all.
He wanted to personally meet the player and ask about the circumstances. Gukan could be potential team member in his eyes however it was more than necessary to search him first.
If someone attacked Gukan then the branch was no safer for the players. How could the players of some random company attack at the WIC’ Players?
This made it perceptible for senior players that the branch might collapse in near days.
“Kara refused to give him any aid so Gukan might be in worse condition.” Hellhorn spoke concerned.
