Deno remained in the same mood. In fact he was curious at the actions of the monster. The second player was looking at other part of the open ground. Some of the forest chunk was cleared for the sake of building. Today it was different. Normally the monster would have gone back after teasing a while. The monster looked at the second player then the surroundings of the building. The third and fourth players were not present today. They were called to assist since most of the players were in the various parts of forest and doing missions. For some time all missions from the west forest were suspended. The executive was present in the building. He was waiting for Mudda. The monster made sure that there was no one to stop the attack in advance. Deno was standing on the first pillar. The difference between first and second pillar would create difficulty for the first player in case the monster attacked. However from the air of the lake it was apparent that the monster was eager to attack today. Deno did not mind. He wanted to end this daily game of the monster. Trepo monster was famous for using the water in the battle attack. Well it was natural for this monster to appear as scheming to get the relic. The square edges of the weapon made the monster drool for relic. The flipper moved forward and the monster got ready its tentacles for the water attack. However it did not attack with water instead the gluey matter was released. Only the weapon could tell the level of the attack. If the level seven weapon could throw off the attack with ease that means the attack was of same level if not then the monster was trouble. The gluey matter got stick with the weapon. The monster knew that the relic was of lower level still it wanted to get hold on it. The reason was simple. Be it lower level or higher level each relic worth importance. The relics were part of the other monsters so naturally they bear the strength of the monsters no matter if they were lower level. The relics nourish the mix body of the Freaks and the monsters. Deno twitched to see this attack. He was not expecting double faced monster to show the right hand then attack with left. The second player went on patrolling to see the other side of the building. Deno dived from the pillar toward the ground. He might have dived in the water if there was one more player to provide cover. Since the gluey attack was level higher Deno did not want to touch it. It could scald his hand or injure. The monster thought that player would fell in the lake then it could easily capture the player and once again attack. Deno slammed the weapon on the ground and stood straight. The gluey matter shook off from the weapon. Deno looked in the lake in the dim light of the evening. Presently there was only one monster attacking him. But soon another monster appeared. It was here to help the buddy monster. Deno found it troublesome to battle with both of them at once. He was also worried because the boss was present inside the building, he might scold for this sudden outrage. Initially he was taking it easy to fend off the attack and send the monster away in the lake however it was no more in his hands to handle properly. Both monsters attacked him to get the weapon now. Deno was pouring sweat because losing weapon was not option. The attack of the second monster caught him and started dragging toward the lake. Deno tried his best however the weapon could not break the long hand of the lake monster. He could see his terrible ending in the hands of two monsters. Suddenly level twenty weapon slashed in between. It was dead end for Deno when the unexpected savior appeared with really stronger weapon. The monsters were taking it cake party to drag the player inside the lake however their plans ruined someone furious. Deno bounced back on the ground with the impact. Before he could resume his senses the heavy guy roared to look at the monsters. Mudda was already angry and to see the guard player in trouble made him more furious. He was here to settle the grudge once for all. The offensive and rude executive once again tried to bother him intentionally. He wanted to know what type of snakes he was hiding under his sleeves. His roar scared the monster and they immediately back down in the water hurrying to save the life from the monstrous player. Veins on his chest popped up as if he was ready to attack level higher monster. Mudda was fearsome player when he happened to be angry. No one ever questioned him during missions decade ago. His nature was different from other players. Mudda was buddy for those who were clean of any malicious intentions. He was dangerous and horrible nightmare for those who tried to scheme against him. The roar created ripples on the surface of the lake. Deno looked at the player with agape mouth. He was finally in his senses but to see the senior player he was shocked and also thankful to his ancestors. His life was saved at the last minute. … A man was sitting inside the building with expressionless painted face. He was skinny but to see his shrewd face one could imagine his inner confidence to keep hold on the several teams of the players in this Skythrone Continent. He was the boss here. His orders were followed with blind eyes. At least none of the player questioned him in the last three years despite the fact that some of them were uninterested to look at his painted face and follow his tricky orders. But they were afraid of the contract. Mudda barged in the big hall. The hall looked like worn out place. It was not polished or very attractive in first glance for any peasant. Only cultivators could mark its worth. The players could tell the treasures fixed at the various parts of the walls. This was the real decoration of the best mission holding company. They could have sold these relics and earned extra wealth however the boss ordered to decorate them inside the building to make it worthy for the players of the WIC Company. The boss lifted his brows up to see the furious man. Mudda directly looked at the boss. The executive did not change his expressions instead his painted relaxed. He was worried that Mudda might decide to stay even after seeing his burnt cottage however he was glad to see that his plan worked to make him angry. Only few old buddies were familiar with this trait. They knew that once Mudda got angry he would go to chase the enemy. “Welcome old friend.” Kara side smiled as if wanted to mock openly but wanted to remain neutral at the same time. “I never happened to know you personally then how the hell we are friends?” Mudda slammed his hand on the table in the same mood. He was infuriated because he heard the rumors about this executive. Mudda never compromised to remain on friendly terms with the scheming people. Also he was clueless about the true identity of this executive. The situation, the actions and the recent pointed his faults and one could tell there was something wrong seriously. Mudda could not ignore. He did not want to listen anything instead wanted to question why this so called boss ordered to bother him. “When a player becomes part of WIC Company he is part of other related people. I ordered to burn your cottage so that you come back here.” The boss spoke in flat tone. Mudda gritted his teeth and looked at the other senior players. Most of them were new faces for him and they were shocked to see how bluntly he was talking with boss. However after taking a look at his weapon they were no more shocked. “I retired decade ago. I am no more obliged to fulfill the useless orders.” Mudda supported the weapon on the table and answered. He was quite disturbed to see how the boss was acting puppet which was actually fake appearance. He was level twenty and could tell there was something brewing behind the bone of his skull. “You might have retired but you did not fulfill the requirement for retirement which means you are still under the contract.” The executive picked big file and threw toward Mudda. The file slide on the flat surface of the table and reached in front of him. Mudda twitched to hear this. The previous executive was sincere person and he never played tricks on the senior players instead he was lenient toward loyal mission holders. Mudda did not feel the need to sum up the contract procedure and left the company branch after completing last mission. No one ever objected on his decision. But this boss brought his file out of nowhere to tell him something he overlooked years ago. He did not need to open the file because he already knew it was truth. However none other executive have had made this look like his fault. Only this tricky boss was up to something bad. Mudda took deep breath. “What if I want to sum up my contract right now?” Mudda asked suppressing his displeasure. Kara laughed but not openly instead in his head. He knew that this senior player would try to sum up the contract instead of following his orders. “Perhaps you did not read the updated version of the rules. For you it would be troublesome to bring seven relics of the level fifty monster right now and hand over to the company especially that you remained idle for whole decade.” Kara spoke in the same tone. The other senior players heard it and their jaws fell on the table. They wanted to shout that this was inhuman rule however they could not openly disagree. Mudda fueled up again after listening the new rule.
