It felt as though three of them were frozen in time, oblivious of what was happening around them. Theo in particular felt as though he had been standing there forever, watching Ralph and Lara who appeared to be his mate, have a heated conversation. He had said nothing but watched on in silence.
“This can't be happening" Lara kept muttering as her wolf kept screaming ‘Mate! Mate!! Mate!!' in her head excitedly.
Ralph scoffed as he glanced at Theo and then shifted his gaze back to Lara with a more stern expression. “We talked about this already Lara, it doesn't matter if he's your mate, all you have to do is reject him. Reject him now" He said to her, trying to sound calm and in control of his anger.
“Woooow" Theo folded his arms and began shaking his head at Ralph.
“Why the hell are you still standing here? Get the hell out of here!" Ralph shot at Theo.
“You're kidding right?" Theo scoffed. “Dude that's my mate. As long as she hasn't rejected me, I'm standing right here with her until she tells me what she wants"
“What are you still waiting for Lara? Reject him" He stated angrily at her.
“I...I..." Lara stuttered, feeling confused. She hadn't expected things to go like this.
“Hey look at me!" Ralph shouted at her, grabbing her arm forcefully.
“Hey!" Theo lunged at him, ripped his hand from her arm and pushed him backward. “Don't you lay your hand on my mate!" He growled with fierce anger in his eyes as he pulled Lara behind him.
Angered by this, Ralph was about to lunge back at him when they heard the disrupting voice of one of the teachers keeping watch. “What the hell is going on here?" He asked, coming up to three of them.
“Nothing" Ralph quickly replied, standing straight and straightening his suit jacket.
“Yeah it's nothing" Theo cleared his throat.
“And you? Is everything okay?" The teacher directed his question to Lara who was still behind Theo.
“I....I just need to clear my head and think about this" She replied and ran off before any of them could stop her.
With that, the teacher sighed and retreated back to his post.
“This isn't over loser" Ralph glared at him before walking away also.
“Okay now things just got interesting, I need to find Klaus" Said Theo with a deep breath. He turned to walk away and that's when he noticed the hall wasn't as filled up as it was before, confirming that they had spent a long time there, caught up in their revelation.

As he slowly opened his eyes, Klaus could still hear a high pitched ringing in his ears. He heard muffled sounds coming from the silhouette of a person kneeling beside him. It took him a few seconds for his blurry vision to become clear and for him to get his hearing back.
“Are you okay?" He heard Cassie's voice with a concerned look on her face.
Without saying anything, he slowly pulled himself up, sitting up. That's when he realized he was now shifted back to his human form and so was Cassie. She was dressed and had his clothes in her hands. “What the hell happened?" He finally asked
“I don't know. We were running pretty fast and then when I turned back, I saw you growl, stumbling and crashing to the ground. It looked as though you were in excruciating pain. I ran back to you and before I got here, you were passed out and shifted back" Cassie explained
From what she said, it all came rushing back to him. He had felt a burning sensation on his chest. He quickly looked down at the spot and saw a symbol of a crescent moon burnt into his chest. It was like a little mark. With a more puzzled look, he felt it with his finger but he didn't feel any pain as though its been a scar he had had for long.
“Are you sure you're okay?" She asked again, staring more intently at him.
“Yeah, yeah I'm fine now" He ran his fingers through his hair, brushing it away from his eyes. “We should probably head back" He added, standing up.
“Yeah, someone might have heard your loud growl and they might be looking for us" She replied, helping him up to his feet.

Arya opened her eyes to a bunch of students standing around her and whispering to each other. She looked around and she was still lying down by the door which meant she wasn't out for long. She propped herself from the floor and stared at everyone around her. She could see the questions and confusion in their eyes.
Without waiting to explain or start getting questions, she quickly stood up and hurried off past them. “Sorry, excuse me" She kept on saying until she was away from them. She moved hurriedly until she was alone in one of the corridors.
She leaned against the wall, breathing heavily. “What the hell was that? And what's with the constant passing out?" She asked herself.
Remembering the burning feeling she had on her chest, she tugged down the collar of her dress and inspected the spot. Just a little above her right breast, she saw a scar like a crescent moon symbol. She felt it, wondering what the hell it was and what it meant.
She was still trying to figure it out when her phone began ringing, startling her. It was her mom calling. She took a deep breath before answering. “Hey mom!" She called
“Oh! Thank the ancestors. I've been trying to reach you since morning. Are you okay? Is everything alright?" She asked with motherly concern.
“Yeah mom I'm fine. Reception hasn't been great"
“Oh okay... Happy birthday sweetie" She said with a more happy tone.
“Thanks mom" Arya replied, continuing on her journey to her dorm room.
“Yeah, I'm sorry I couldn't come see you. I'm not in town currently and I'm not getting back till Tuesday. I promise I'm gonna come with a gift. It's your eighteenth birthday and I should be there. I'm so sorry honey"
“It's okay mom. I'm fine"
“Okay darling. So how are you feeling? Are you okay?" She asked with a more serious tone.
“I'm fine mom. Stop worrying about me" Arya replied, rolling her eyes. She had gotten used to her mom constantly worrying about her always that she thought maybe there was something her mom was expecting to be wrong. “I'm fine and it's not gonna change no matter how many times you ask me" She added, getting to her room door.
“Really? You don't feel anything strange? Anything out of the ordinary?"
“What do you mean by strange?" Arya stopped on her tracks with furrowed brows.
“I mean anything unusual"
She turned the doorknob and pushed the door open to see Blair seated on her bed nervously and the witch they saw at the principal's office standing in front of her, wearing the same robe she had worn that night. “Ermm...mom, I'm gonna have to call you back" She brought the phone down from her ear and ended the call, her vision fixed on the mystery witch.
“She was here waiting when I came to the room to grab my phone" Blair pointed out.
“Come on in Arya, we have some things to discuss" The witch invited, her hood shielding part of her face. She stood by the window, her fingers Interlocked in front of her.
