Gabriella Monet's Point of View
It was wonderful to see Daphne again. It's incredible how fate sometimes decides how things should be done. It never occurred to me that I would run into Daphne again, but she looks stunning in a regal-looking purple gown.
"Daphne, you're looking lovely tonight. It's beautiful to see you again, "I hugged her.
"Me too," she said in response.
Slade cleared his throat to get my attention, and both Daphne and I turned to face him. "Are you guys done?" he inquired condescendingly.
I scowled at him and decided not to respond to his question until Daphne took the initiative to do so.
She apologized to the prince before bowing.
