Difficult decision
Mary's POV
I watched Marco drive away, my mind spinning.
What had I just done?
I'd saved a child's life. That was good. That was the right thing to do.
But I'd also just made a deal with one of Andrew's enemies. A man who openly admitted he wanted to destroy my husband. A man who wanted me to help him do it.
And the worst part? Part of me understood why.
Marco's sister had been innocent. She'd died because of Andrew and Elijah's war. How many other innocent people had been caught in the crossfire over the years? How many lives had been destroyed?
"Mary?"
