× Third Person's POV × Valerie had been hit in the head pretty hard by the man Dwayne. There was some internal bleeding but they were able to stop it. It's been a week since her surgery was a success but she has yet to wake up. The doctor told them all the possibility of her not remembering the past couple days. Elijah was a mess, it was concluded that Valerie had indeed lost the babies due to so much stress and the amount of movement she was doing. Elijah beats himself up constantly for not getting there sooner, for not being able to stop Dwayne. Although everyone tries to cheer him up, it doesn't work.
