The guild master sees her attendant accompanied by the S Rank Tanker.
Speaking in a low voice they start conversing.
Guild master: How is it? Did you get her?
Attendant: *nod* Yes, guild master. She's sleeping so I let her be carried all the way here.
Guild master: Sleeping?
The S Rank Tanker shows her to him. A little girl with an eye mask covering her face, sleeping soundly on his back.
Guild master: *sigh* This d*mn kid ruining our face again. Wake her up quickly.
Both the attendant and the S Rank Tanker look at each other.
S Rank Tanker: Why me?
The attendant follows.
Attendant: Not me either.
The guild master glares at them. The two stare back and speak.
Both: You're the guild master, you wake her up.
Outside, I see the guild master, his attendant, and a tall man beside him. The man has a solid body. Maybe he's the SSS Rank Tanker who will accompany me. They are kinda busy talking with each other.
I approach their direction, as they start to notice me.
Ray: Excuse me, sir. It looks like you forgot my payment. I come here to bring it to you.
Their eyes were set on me. What's with these people? The guild master looks at my direction.
Guild master: Sorry about that. Hold them for the meantime. Oh, right. We haven't exchange familiarities with each other. What's your name, little fella?
(As the guild master speaks, he makes a sign to the two saying: "You people wake her up, as I talk with this fella.")
Ray: I'm Ray, sir. Is there any problem? You guys seem to be in the middle of something.
Guild master: I see. Well, maybe you know me already. I'm the Guild Master Esley. Those two people are Kara and Berdo.
Ray: Is Berdo the SSS Rank Tanker, sir Esley?
GM Esley: How I wish I could. Berdo is not an SSS Rank. He's an S Rank.
Maybe they encounter some problem and the SSS Rank Tanker fails to come.
Ray: Sir Esley, does that mean that the SSS Rank Tanker failed to show up?
GM Esley: That's not the case, Ray. Let's go back first inside and wait there. The Tanker is coming, alright. You just need to wait (He continues to signal the two to hurry up).
I find it odd but still, I follow Sir Esley inside leaving his attendant and the S Rank Tanker.
Kara: That old raccoon. He sure knows how to get away from trouble, isn't he?
Berdo: I don't blame him. I mean, who wants to wake up this little monster.
Kara: I have an idea.
The attendant whispers her thoughts.
We're back inside the room to wait. And I'm feeling the uneasiness of my companion.
I ask then.
Ray: Something wrong, Sir Esley?
GM Esley: Nothing. Wait here and let me call my comrades outsides. I bet they're finished on the job I ordered.
I'm about to answer back when the door opens and I saw Ms. Kara and Mr. Berdo. Sir Esley goes and approaches them.
GM Esley: So, is she awake?
They just nod without saying a word.
GM Esley: That's a relief.
