Tessa's POV
Anthony and I went back to Fire Moon that Saturday evening to regroup and figure out if we will be taking a trip to Montana. While we have several things working in our favor, such as Brent being wanted by the humans for murder and the Council relaxing about him, we can't underestimate him.
With the trial next Tuesday where Ainslee will probably walk away with half his net worth, she is higher up on Brent's s**t list than even Anthony is now. Ainslee's under heavy guard back at Blue River with Aiden by her side. It really upset them both as they wanted to get answers out of Brent's mother, but Ainslee's safety is the priority right now.
