Tolanda had finished another day at the clinic and made her way back to the guest chambers and thought she might see about eating with Ievos for dinner; on her way up, she bumped into Iefyr as he left his rooms. They stood in awkward greeting of one another and she could almost feel Iefyr’s sadness emanating from him like a dark cloud. It broke her heart to see the defeat in his beautiful eyes which somehow did not seem so bright any longer.
“How is it going at the clinic?” he asked.
“It’s good, I have learned so much and I even delivered Tirrad and Senni’s baby the other day! A little girl. I helped deliver a baby at my home village, of course one baby does not mean I know exactly what I am doing but I felt confident and it went really well,” Tolanda replied smiling, “how is training?”
