The night passed in a blur, no words were exchanged in a trio group. Or rather Johnny and I were so deep into their world that they forgot about my existence. The morning light started to chase the darkness away from the forest, I lay down my eyes focused on the sky. It was mesmerizing to watch the clouds and the sun dance the tango. I heaved a sigh as I recalled our journey was beginning again, these hours spent here, away from the unexpected troubles that lay ahead had been rewarding. The birds called out to each other, singing harmoniously to welcome the sun. I dreaded the day, I knew nothing of what to expect of the day but these past days have taught me that you can only hope for the best while expecting the worst.
