The cold breeze of the evening woke me up, my eyes frowned at the intrusion of light, its brightness almost blinding. A yawn escaped me, my body moaned as I stretched, the sturdy tree branches had not been a comfortable bed. My stomach grumbled reminding me of its need to be fed.
I looked down from between the branches, to be sure that the coast was clear making it safe for me to jump down.
I held back a scream as I noticed a massive python, its thick body stretched and blocking the path I needed to cross.
