The cave began to brighten up, the sun had finally risen, and it was a new day, with unresolved uncertainties.
"hey" Sarah's groggy voice called out, and my head turned to her, watching as she and Johnny stirred awake.
"Hey," I replied. "Where is Trudy?" Sarah asked, her eyes searching the cave for her. I shrugged, my head still placed on the cave wall, the strength to talk seemed no more.
"I'm right here," she called out, walling into the cave with a rabbit in her hand, her face full of smiles. "I love to be up before the sun, and also my trap seems to have caught a good catch," she said with a giggle as she pointed to the rabbit.
"Let's have breakfast and then you can be on your way" She gave the rabbit to Johnny as she settled beside me.
"Why do you look so gloomy," Trudy said
