The roaring blaze of the fire as the wood sizzled in its flame seems to echo in the forest. The frog croaking blending with the rustling of leaves was an added effect to the somber mood. Sarah and Johnny sat by a tree their eyes fixed on the fire, no one knew what to say as each person kept to his or her thoughts. "Rose, you have to stop blaming yourself, it was only self-defense, you did what you had to do for the safety of yourself and your pack" Sarah sighed as she tried calling me out of my self-deprecating mode.
