"Aren't you going for the competition anymore?" John asked me as we settled into our seats.
"I don't know yet, rumors are flying about that I can't participate because of my dad's tainted reputation," I responded as I arranged the canvas in front of me.
"There are just rumors, have you forgotten that you were begged to participate in this competition?" He said.
