CHAPTER 40 “It was the wig glue,” Faye declared with conviction for the fourth time so far during lunch. Ronnie gave Grace a sympathetic look. When Faye latched onto an idea as the truth it often remained true to her even if was proven to be untrue by others. Grace returned Ronnie’s look with an exasperated one of her own and Ronnie decided she would intervene. Grace had been on her own with Faye for a while down under, she deserved a break.
