436 Words
As I woke up that morning life, it seemed like any other morning in our home. My mom yells at me to wake up. Lori is being constantly praised by my mom and her father, Aiden. This is the start of "My Daily Life with Ruin".Hey, Lily wake up, you've been sleeping all morning! Lori yelled. Yeah, I hear you! I yelled. As I got out of my bed, I felt something was off. I walked downstairs. As I smelled the hash browns and omelets. A nice aroma to start my morning. You finally got up? Lori asked. What are you talking about? I asked. You slept for two days straight, Lily. That is not healthy. Lori replied. What are you talking about? I asked. Aric, Lori, and Mom what is going on here? I asked. My mom turned her head and kept cooking. What are you hiding from me? I asked. I'm heading to work. Aric replied. You know the bus is here, Lily. Lori replied. What the hell is going on Lori and Aric?! I yelled. Shut the hell up, we have neighbors. We don't need anyone starting rumors. Mom replied. Sorry, it just feels something is off. I replied. Get yourself ready for school. Mom replied. As she said that, I sighed. I will. I replied. As soon as I took my shower and gotten dressed, I was wondering, "What are those three hiding from me?" I thought. Get your a** down these steps, so you won't be late. Mom yelled. I'm coming dammit. I replied. Watch your damn mouth. Mom replied. I sucked my teeth. Where do you get such a filthy mouth for a pretty girl? Mom asked. Geh, I wonder where, hmm? I said sarcastically. As we walked out the door, I glared at my mom. Get in the car, I need a eight-hour break from you. Mom replied. I rather go to school anyways. I yelled. As I stormed out of the door, I slammed the door so hard I loosen the knob. I know my mom hates me. Compared to Lori, I am her Bart and she's my Lisa. I thought. Get in the car, Lily. Mom replied. This is my life so far, I want something interesting to happen to me. I walked to the car. My mom opened the door for me to get in. I opened the door and sat in the back seat. She walked outside and glared at me. She turned on the radio. I refused to talk to her. She started the car and we were on our way to school. Stay Tuned.
