In todays life we all have to make money to live. People make up stories to get the best outcome. They lie to make things better, when all it does is make things worse once it comes to the frontline.
Have you walked outside to look at the world you live in? Truly look at all of the things that around you. Depending on where you live, you will find a lot of different things.
Just take a month and look around you right now, for just a moment. Take a look at some of the colors and smells that are around you. The sounds that might be close or far away. There are many things that we all over look in our everyday lives. From the songs of birds in the trees, to the sounds of our children playing and laughing in the next room.
If we could all take just a few minutes everyday to connect with the world around us we might be able to make this world a bit better. Most of my days I spend inside my home watching Tv, or something of that sort. Recently I have come to notice that we all take time for granted. When was the last time you told your grandparents or siblings you love them?
I know I have lost out on ever getting to do that again with two of my family members. I thought I had more time then I was given. With all the virus talk and all the deaths that have followed, we all really need to wake up and smell the rose. We need to look at our family and spend what little time we have with the ones we love, doing something we love to do.
We all have to make a living, but are we actually living our lives or are we just surviving? Are we actually happy with how the world is changing, or is anyone going to step up and change things for the better. We are the only animal on the plant that kills for fun, we are the only thing that will trash the home we live in just because we don't seem to care where the trash goes after we throw it away.
Most of us avoid thinking about the things we can not see. We focus on what is right infront of us as we run threw our day. But, honestly we don't even look at what is infront of us. When we drive we look at the road we are on, not the world around it. The trees we drive past, the homes where small families live and make a true homes.
When I say true home I don't mean that white pickett fence and big house of kids. I mean the ones that people have put their lives into. Not work their lives away to get it, but work to help it grow. To make their kids smile and to feel happy when they come home. The ones where when they get up in the morning they don't need to have the home, or the money to make it a home. When we can take one look and know that this is a happy home, even if it is run down and broken.
Each person is different and wonderful in their on way. From loving to knit and do crafts, to people who love to work. We all have a place in this world and need to find it, but we don't have to spend our lives looking for it. What we need to do is find what we like to do and want to do. I want to spend time with my family more and make a living from home, but that is a lot harder to do then it used to be. I want to be here for when my children take their first steps and go to school for the first time. I want to make people smile and help them find what makes them happy. To see someone smile a genuine smile makes my day so much better, and knowing that I was the one who helped that smile come out is even better.
These episodes will probably never reach more then a fifty people, but I am hoping that the few I can reach will see something in my writing that will change them for the better. If that is only that they spend a few moments looking at the world around them or telling the people they love how they feel. Each things makes a difference, even if it is only a small difference in each person. Evey little smile makes a difference. Maybe one day I will be able to reach my dreams, and be able to help others do the same.
