This is treason, Aurelia stared at Herry's face with eyes that were slightly flashing white. She realized that she was close to releasing her power, but she clenched her hands into fists and held on not to let go now.
After all, the one in front of her right now was Herry, her husband. Only she knew that this man was only using her, making her into a woman who was not loved, not sincerely wanted. Aurelia really didn't expect that she would become what she is today, where she is currently only a healer for Herry's mother.
"You really never loved me?"
"No." Herry answered lightly. "I loved another female werewolf."
Aurelia smiled at his words. "How could you love another woman? Aren't you an Alpha who can't love another woman?" she asked with disappointment, Aurelia still tried to ask nicely. "I know all about it, an Alpha can't love another woman. You're just making excuses, tell me what's wrong?"
"No excuses, Aurelia," Herry replied with a relaxed look on his face. "How do you know that as an Alpha I can only love one woman who will one day become my Luna? You don't understand that because this is who I am, I can love whoever I want and it won't be controlled by anyone else."
The serious look on Herry's face stunned Aurelia. Really? She had read from a holy book that an Alpha would only love the woman who would one day become his Lunas. Even if he liked another woman it would not be as great as his love for the Luna, so how could Herry even like another woman who came from the same Werewolf clan?
"Get out of here and never come back. Let's just say our relationship is enough up to here," Herry said and soon his hand displayed a red light.
Aurelia stared at the light with a shocked face. "Red lightning? You want to eliminate me, Herry?!"
"This is the only way, only by you dying can I make you leave this place!" Herry looked so persistent in what he wanted to do. "Go away and never come back!"
Aurelia clenched her hands into fists, creating a white shield of protection. She tried to use all her magic power, not letting Herry destroy her.
The two forces clashed, creating a sound so powerful it was like an explosion. Until, Aurelia realized that her current strength could not come out completely, she could not withstand the power of Herry's red lightning that many clans had recognized as the best weapon.
"Alpha ..." whimpered Aurelia with her face looking hurt amidst the cracking power of her shield. "You really want to kill me? After what I gave you and after what I gave your mother you're really going to finish me off now? I already used half of my power to make your mother well. You... now you're going to finish me off?"
Herry looked away and continued to use the red lightning bolt with one hand. He had no intention of softening and that made Aurelia laugh sadly. Her tears fell with disappointment, her husband who she thought loved her all this time really only used her as a useless healer.
A healer who was no longer needed after being used, a woman who was dumped after getting everything she had. Today Aurelia felt it, getting this kind of treatment from the man she had considered her husband for the past few months. A man who had in fact let her down, making her hurt in an instant.
Why didn't Aurelia know anything about all this?
"Go away and don't come back! I don't want to see you again!" Herry exclaimed as he jerked his hand until a huge bolt of lightning was ready to strike.
Aurelia knew that this was the end of her life, she closed her eyes and said with a face full of tears.
"I will avenge this! Even if I have to live another hundred years, I will destroy you, Herry!"
Ctas!
A portal suddenly struck him and his body was stung by the red lightning that Herry had thrown at him. Instantly Herry's room went silent, the man lowered his hand and all the red light that came out of it disappeared.
He exhaled, silent with his face cold and flat as if he didn't feel guilty for taking away his Luna. Herry folded his hands behind his back, before he finally heard the sound of a knock on the door that was quite strong and had a frantic rhythm.
"Come in..."
The door to his room opened as he shook his hand. He looked up at the face of Grax, the Beta who was the assistant who used to help him take care of all the problems that occurred within the clan.
Grax looked at him who was already seated in one of the oversized chairs, but he did not find the presence of their Aurelia aka Luna at all.
"Alpha, what's going on? Just now I saw a light glowing from the vent of your and Luna's room. Was there an attack? Where is Luna?" asked Grax frantically while Herry seemed to catch his breath.
"Don't ever look for Luna again, she's gone. She won't be staying with us anymore. Luna decided to leave and not be with us anymore because she chose not to live here. Besides, she said earlier that she healed Mom and she decided to leave this place. From now on there is no Luna, she has decided to leave my life."
The Alpha's words he heard were a little absurd, but he didn't dare to deny it. Now his curiosity was much higher, how could Luna just leave and not say anything? Didn't they just talk earlier and just see the condition of Herry's mother together?
Wasn't Luna's attitude all this time also very good and so loving and loyal to Herry? How could she just leave now? What was really going on? Grax didn't want to believe so quickly but he also didn't find Luna's whereabouts after he searched for a while using the magic power stored in his eyes.
"Alpha... How did it happen before?"
Grax saw that the man was already cross-legged and using the position for meditation. It made him suspect that perhaps it was because of being left behind by Luna that Alpha was like that. Even though so far their relationship was quite good and they had never rejected each other at all. Then why was there suddenly a breakup like this that made him wonder?
"Alpha-"
"Go away, don't say anything to me." Herry cut his off. "I want to calm myself down, don't come to me before I call you. I don't want to be disturbed right now."
