Excuse Me...👀✨

Patient Name: Kim Keon-hee So she was Korean too. A quiet surge of relief bloomed across Taehyung’s chest. Handing the medical file directly to the attending doctor, he stepped back, his eyes drifting back to the woman lying on the bed. A strange sense of familiarity washed over him as he studied her delicate features. 'Have I seen her somewhere before?' he wondered, searching his memories, but the thought slipped away before he could grasp it. Time passed, finally, the woman’s eyelids fluttered open. The doctors spoke softly, gently explaining the gravity of what had just happened, it was a minor cardiac event, a dangerous warning sign that could have escalated into something far more severe if they hadn't acted immediately. They prescribed her necessary medications. Scheduled a follow-up consultation, and urged her to rest before quietly taking their leave. Once the room fell silent, her tired gaze flickered away from the door, landing on the nervous young man and the large dog standing side-by-side near her bed. "Bamie..." she whispered, her voice weak but warm. Recognizing her voice, the Doberman instantly rested his heavy head directly into her open palm. Tears welled in her eyes as she pressed a soft kiss to his crown, her fingers gently stroking his smooth fur. Her gaze shifted to the pretty boy standing there. "Thank you, son... thank you for saving me." "Actually... Auntie," Taehyung intervened softly, a tender smile breaking across his face. "It was bamie who truly saved you." He looked down at the dog, his eyes filled with profound affection and respect. Bam-Bam. At the sound of his name, the Doberman let out a soft huff, stepping down from the bed to circle Taehyung’s legs, his tail wagging furiously as if expressing his own heartfelt gratitude. Mrs. Kim watched the gentle interaction, a faint, apologetic smile softening her pale face. "I am so sorry to trouble you with this so late at night, son." "Please, Auntie, don't say that," Taehyung reassured her warmly, bowing his head slightly. "You don't need to apologize for anything. Take care of yourself and get some rest. I will head out now." He offered her one last soothing smile, bowed respectfully, and patted Bamie’s head before turning toward the bedroom door. He took a few quiet steps into the hallway, but before he could leave, her soft voice called out from behind him. "Wait... you didn't tell me your name, dear." Taehyung paused, turning back with a light, sheepish chuckle. "Oh..." He opened his mouth, the familiar syllable rising naturally to his lips. "Ki.." *Do not reveal who you are to anyone.* He swallowed the truth back down, his expression smoothing into a polite, composed mask. "Kang Vi-hoo," he corrected smoothly. Mrs. Kim offered him a soft, lingering smile. "Vi-hoo... what a beautiful name." ✨_______________✨ The next morning, Taehyung woke up way past his alarm. Classic Sunday behavior. His brain immediately went to the lady from last night. 'Is she okay? Should I check on her?' He pulled himself out of bed, did a quick speed-run of his morning routine, and headed straight to the kitchen. He decided to prepare some Korean soup to deliver some comforting food and use it as a low-key excuse to see how she was doing. Honestly, he couldn't explain the vibe he felt with her. Maybe it was the shared surname, or... the Korean connection, or... just the fact that her presence felt familiar, bringing to mind the mother he had lost.. Or maybe fate was just doing its thing. He packed the soup into containers, walked over to her apartment, and hit the doorbell. A few seconds passed before the door swung open, and Taehyung completely froze. Standing there was an absolute visual. A handsome, insanely fine guy in casual clothes that somehow radiated effortless main-character energy. Taehyung literally could not stop staring at the guy’s Bambi eyes. Huge, expressive doe eyes, dark brows, sharp jawline, the whole soft-face-meets-built-frame contrast was insane. He completely forgot where he was, what he was holding, and why he was acting like a total creep. "Excuse me..." The guy's voice - stern, deep, but weirdly smooth, snapped Taehyung right out of his trance. Embarrassed beyond belief, Taehyung broke eye contact and double-checked the apartment number to make sure he hadn't completely lost it. Right then, Bam trotted over from the living room, doing a quick lap around Taehyung and sniffing his trousers and shoes. The guy just watched the whole scene unfold like he’d already clocked what was going on. Taehyung offered a small smile to the dog. 'Okay, right apartment.' Clinging to that tiny win, he built up the courage to look back at the guy, who was still silently reading him. "I'm here for Mrs. Kim. Is.. is she around?" The guy scanned Taehyung from head to toe, letting his eyes linger on the soup container for a second before nodding and stepping aside to let him in. Taehyung gave a quick, polite nod and walked through the door. "Oh... Vi-hoo! Come on in," a voice called out. Mrs. Kim was sitting on the massive plush couch. Taehyung smiled, walked over, and set the soup down on the coffee table. "I brought over some soup," he said, rubbing the back of his neck. "I know it’s kinda late... I overslept. I thought it was just you here, so I just wanted to drop off some food." Her face lit up. "Vi-hoo, you really didn't have to! But thank you, seriously." She stood up and pulled him into a warm, gentle hug, and Taehyung instantly felt that comforting motherly warmth. Totally worth the awkward entrance. "Oh, wait! I forgot. Kook, come here real quick," she called out. The guy took a few long strides over to the couch. "This is Kang Vi-hoo, our new neighbor. And Vi-hoo, this is my son-" Before she could even finish the intro, the guy reached out his hand towards Taehyung. "Jungkook." ✨________________✨ Support, Comment and Follow❤️‍🔥🫴
