At sunset, Tom arrived at the parking lot of St. Thomas Hill on his red bike. His gravel bike had wheels as thick as a mountain bike, so it easily rode on any gravel road. Tom took out the lock from the small basket on the bike and tied the wheel to an iron pole. He took off his helmet with scarlet flames painted on it. A large white plane flew over Tom’s head. It was a passenger plane taking off from the nearby Anna International Airport.
This small hill is where the apostle Thomas was executed two thousand years ago. Apostle Thomas is famous as the doubtful apostle among the twelve disciples of Jesus.
