LUCIA POV
Just as Sophia finished speaking, we heard the sound of footsteps outside the room. The door creaked open, and a tall, imposing figure loomed in the doorway.
"Lucia, Sophia, it's time to come with me," the figure growled.
Sophia's eyes flicked to the figure, and she nodded slightly. "It's Cristiano," she whispered to me.
My heart sank as I realized that the man standing in the doorway was the same Cristiano that Sophia had warned me about.
Cristiano's eyes seemed to bore into mine, and I felt a shiver run down my spine. What did he want with us?
