The incredibly simple skill that many CEO’s in the vip room thought was not worth the investment was showing its true colors. One word, Overpowered.

The companies were yet to have access to the competition but one thing was for certain, they  were going to be kicking themselves after seeing what it could actually do. The best part was that even with the suppression, his commander's passive skill of spirit shards was available to provide him with a never ending supply of spirit energy.

Whoosh!

Before the other Karniffs could attack him, Sly vanished like a ghost and went back to formation.

The Level 1 weapon of maxes mecha suit was the Gatling gun, the next salvo of bullets actually hit one of the Karniffs on the side one after the other opening a giant wound. Very soon a ghost appeared and claimed another head.

The Karniffs were confused with the enemy that was popping out of nowhere and harvesting them one by one.

They tried to intimidate Sly’s team but it was to no avail, even Sami the smallest in the group was even more excited at the prospect of the precious XP and assembling her Tricanon. 

There were no fluctuations in anybody's breathing and that stressed the Karniffs even more, sending them into a berserk state.  They were cornered beasts that launched themselves towards the team but the shields from Broxa were always on point pushing them back.

The clean up was fast and smooth as Nova and Sami hit them with their skills and Sly finished the job.  He was only level 1 but his strength and his E.F.S weapon made him as strong as a level 10 character.  Only him and K.C knew what the final stats were going to be at his current level but the survival games were the perfect stage for Sly.  Behind the amazing plains, there were a plethora of souls that were left behind by decades of fighting and he was there to take them all in.

Sly didn’t waste time and put the heads of the beast in his space folder and left the rest of the bodies for Max to put away. The team resembled Hyenas looking for prey, they couldn’t go against groups that were too big in size so they stayed a fair distance away and pathed towards groups that were resting or that had fallen behind the herd.

Ratata! 

The gatling gun always started the fight and very soon the experience started rolling in.  The first level only needed 15 Karniffs while the second needed 30 then 45 and so on.  Sly was swallowing his saliva with every kill and the more they killed the deeper and deeper they had to go looking for packs of Karniffs to get their most wanted exp. 

Is that a Rock Rabbit? 

Yes! … Yes it is! Said Sly in a very excited voice. He swallowed his saliva and tried to contain his urge.

Before they knew it, they had moved towards a new area filled with mountains and giant rabbits.  The majority displayed patches of skin that looked more like polish rocks in different parts of their bodies.  They were of different colors and there was not one that was alike.

It now made sense to the team that their horns would be so popular.  The patterns and colors on them would give personality to any products they were used for.  

Max started the fight against the closest Rabbit but to his surprise all he did was to scare it away.  The rabbit very quickly turned around and launched itself into the giant hole disappearing from everyones’ sight.

Hmm!

“That is unfortunate…” said Broxa

CLANK!

Everyone was still frowning at the fact that the Rabbit had escaped underneath the ground, when all of the sudden, the same rabbit jumped up horn first and rammed into the mecha suit immediately making an indentation.  Max was extremely lucky that the horn itself was only a foot long or he would have definitely been impaled by the beast.

Max was sweating profusely as he laid on the floor with a rock rabbit stock to the hulk of the suit trying to get away.

Ice Shards!

A bombardment of Ice Spells and plasma shells hit the Rabbit until he stopped moving for good.

That was close!

The blood of the Rock Rabbit started spilling and a putrid stench spread in all directions. It was worse than 100 day old cooked rice.  It immediately brought the attention of his companions that started coming out of their holes alongside the mountain before going crazy.

The moment they came out, the hills looked like a porcupine's back and the next moment they were gone. 

A few seconds later, the floor started to shake.

“Everyone get ready!” Broxa was the first to react and gave the team the heads up.  He also put up shields that were now a lot stronger than before due to leveling.

If the team reached level 5, the confrontation against the rabbits would have been a lot easier especially with the incorporation of a second skill. Level 5 was known as a threshold level that allowed the individual access to a skill of choice that would radically improve their battle prowess.

The intensity of the rumbling intensified and Rock Rabbits started popping up from the ground.

Like their predecessor, the horn came out first and with impeccable aim.

It was Guerilla warfare. It didn’t take long for the team to realize what was going on and started moving around dodging the huge beast. 

The Rabbits jumped up and reached their top height of 10 meters above the ground and then did a nice parabola and went back down before going underneath the ground one more time.  

The team didn’t have much time to think as 1 rabbit became two, two became four and so on and so forth until 100 rabbits were popping and diving all over the place.  The amount was staggering, Broxa was starting to feel a lot of pressure. 

The energy levels of his E.F.S weapon started to dwindle and the worst part about it was that Max was a sitting duck trying to move with a Rock Rabbit stuck to the mobile suit's crotch.  

“Just keep the shield on Max, we will be ok” said Nova while trying to hit her enemies with her ice skill”.

Sami on the other hand was doing much better, she was very nimble and after a few seconds got used to the feeling that happened right before the rabbits broke to the ground and it was easy to move about thanks to her superior agility. She even started to counter attack with her cannon and put some pressure on her aggressors.  

BANG! BANG! 

“I can’t hold on for much longer, we need to help Max move away from the carcass.  I think is calling the attention of the others”

“Captain Obvious! How? That area is crowded with Rabbits” Said Nova while having a very hard time dodging the incoming attacks and that irritated her even more.

“Did you finish analyzing the environment?”

“Pshhh.. Who do you think you are talking to? I am the most sophisticated chip created by Mother herself.  Let's go, I will help you dodge and you just attack.  The easiest way to kill them is to avoid the patches of rock throughout their bodies and cut through their necks.  If they don’t have any rock patches, it will be easy for your weapon to decapitate them. Lucky for you the patterns on their bodies easily tells you where to not to aim”.  

“K.C! Add all my points to my strength”

“Sure, adding 20 points to strength”.

Sly was now Level 4 and with the current system he could release 20 points of his original stats and he decided to apply them all into one.  Strength not only controlled how much he could lift but also his explosive power. The stat almost doubled in one go while externally his blood vessels bulged and he felt himself becoming lighter. The change in perception was not due to a physical loss but thanks to his new found strength, it was a lot easier to move his own weight.
