Chapter 11 : I Need Power

He walks out towards the wall beside his classroom and sit there. I follow him sitting there and then he stretch out his hand to code to borrow the book I brought. I then give it to him it.

“Mmmm…” He said while showing palms, and his hand looks like coding something.

“Hmm… Ohh yea! Here.”

I said while lending him a pencil and the eraser. He then make an anime girl face and then the chibi one I’m waiting and then says.

“Sir, why don’t you go playing with the others?”

“They’re too far, also I don’t want to play with Zaenul. He’s to chatty and pretend like he ‘know anything’ and I don’t like it.”

“I see, I’m gonna tell him… maybe he can change.” He suddenly glared at me and while hitting my shoulder he says.

“You don’t have to do it!”

“Ouch, just believe in me sir.” Suddenly the bell are ringing, I take my book and pencil back and then says.

“Okay I have to go. Bye!”

“Bye!”

Said Ahsan while he’s walking to his class. Then, I’m running to my class. And coincidentally Zaenul are seems to be going to his class, I stop him by saying.

“Dude, wait!” I pat his shoulder and then says.

“I see the reason why Ahsan don’t wanna play with you.”

“Lemme guess, it’s because me that’s too chatty and pretending that I know anything.” He said with a slightly angry face, I adjusted my mask first and then said.

“Yeaa, can you change it?”

“Ried, I have a request of you. Don’t talk to me neither you nor Ahsan, I want to be alone for maybe 1 week.” He said. I was surprised, I feel a little guilty and I selfishly said.

“Bro, It can’t be like that. Let me talk to you I beg you!”

“Well fine, but. You can only talk for a while.”

He said and then walk to his class. While feeling guilty I also walking to my class, I see the teacher that will teach our class are walking upstairs. I’m quickly walk to the class and then close the door. One of my classmate, one of the tallest boy in the class asking me.

“Is the teacher coming right now?”

“Yea, She’s on the stairs last time I saw her.” I said and then I hear the door opened and then the teacher walks in.

“Do the work!”

She said while walking to the teacher’s seat. This teacher comes to class only for formalities, she comes and just sits down and tells us to do the assignments in the textbooks and modules. And because of that, most people in class are lazy and then ignore it. But some of them are do the task because they’re too diligent.

“Ried, hear this.”

A girl in front of me that are suddenly turns back and look at me said. She’s one of my best friend, she likes some korean things. She can write and reading and also speaking some Korean language, She’s a dancer too.

Her height are only about 145cm with her weight about 55kg, her skin are white as snow and looks smooth. She has some positive aura even tho not with her mind. Even though she’s like that she’s a good girl.

“Khaiii, how to spell this word?”

Her name is Dhiyaul, this girl always follow where Khaira will go. They can’t be separated so easily. She’s a good girl, a little bit quiet but sometimes she can be annoying. She have a height about approximately 160. Her skin are same as Zaenul which is brown.

“Ried, Do you know the Jackson Michael’s safe song right?”

And this is my dumb but good friend, his name is Karunia. His height are about 167cm and his weight are only 40kg, a little bit skinny and his skin are white. He had a small eyes curly long red thin hair. He often using a black bomber jacket to school but sometimes he brought a sweater.

He’s kinda feminim boy but he’s quiet smart at the time. Although, he’s very kind to the girls, when he want to go somewhere he always asks me to go with him wherever he want… even, toilet.

But, when I’m asking him to go with me somewhere he often to refuse than accept it. Uhh f**k! But well I sometimes reject his request. He sometimes do a dumb thing. Because of we are always stick together, everyone thinks that we are twins.

“Well, a lil bit.” I said a little bit cold. And by the way he can do a dance, especially Jackson Michael’s, he can sing also he now learn how to make some music.

“Ried… Ried, FARIED!” Khaira shouts at me and then after that she realise and shut her mouth. Then with a little bit surprised, I’m in a quiet high and hold voice then says.

“Eyy, yo?!”

“As I said yesterday, did you ask about me to Ahsan?”

“Ohh s**t, I’m forgot.”

I’ve remember that this girl having an interest to Ahsan because he can write and speak Japanese. Then she says with a little bit quick speaking.

“Uhh… what are you doing, didn’t I say when you play with him, ask him.”

“Yea, yea. Next break time I’ll ask him.”

I said with a sigh. We’re chatting until the fifth bell are suddenly ringing again. That bell tells that this teacher only have 1 hour remaining we’re continuing to do the chit chat. Khaira suddenly take a note and she says.

“Ried, teach me the Japanese of ‘Long time no see’ using the hiragana.”

“It’s like this.” Then I write the word on my note cover and then explain how to spell those Japanese alphabet.

“Why are you guys doing this useless thing.” Said Dhiyaul.

“Uhh, Because I don’t have anything to do.” I said but then Khaira shouting.

“Because those words are cute!”

“Ehh?!? That’s it?!!” I said on my mind. Then we’re talking until the seventh bell rings. The teacher packs her goods and then she says.

“Okay childrens see you next week. Bye!” Then she leaves.

I’m walking outside too because suddenly I’ve remember about Dravistic’s accident. The class sounds boisterous with unnecessary chatter, I ignore them. I then inhales deeply slowly hold it for 5 seconds and let it all out quickly through my mouth and say on my mind.

“Okay Zein, let’s pray that today there will be much better, Aameen.”

“Ohh s**t, the next teacher comes.” I said slowly while walking inside and sit on my seat.

I look to the right and suddenly the next teacher comes. The class are started again. This time the entrepreneurship lecture.

“Enough! Assalamualaikum Warahmatullahi Wabarakatuh. Hey you ancient humans! Sit down.”

Said the teacher while pounding the table. I like this teacher, I can feel an aura that is quite in my frequency from him. However, judging from his past stories he looks fierce and also a bit of a fad. I like the way he speaks especially his iconic language like earlier which is ‘Ancient People’.

“Okay, Ancient humans. The end of the semester exam will be held soon, your task is that you have made 2 groups of group 1 from absence 1 to 16 and the remaining two groups. Your task is to make food from the material we learned yesterday.. . Understand?”

“Understand!”

Say all the students at the same time. Then the teacher ran out of material to teach and then he told another story about his childhood which is very exciting. It doesn’t feel like time is running out. The tenth bell suddenly rings signaling the rest time. The teacher goes out of the classroom and I’m talk to my behind, I rush to the canteen to buy a drink. The time marks 12.13, the time for worship has arrive. Before worshiping I’m chilling at where my g**g was hanging out. Unfortunately, there’s no one hanging around. They are very busy, I then randomly say.

“Wind come!”

Slowly while snapping my fingers. Suddenly the wind blow up. And then I say while snapping my finger again

“Wind stop!”

And the wind stopped. This is just a coincidence. Even so, I arrogantly smiles proudly and then drink the drink I bought. Not long, I thought.

“If I become strong as I said. Will I be able to easily kill those creatures easily without remaining. Like I did with Rubaskh back then?”

“I need power!”

With that motivation I go downstairs while throwing out an empty bottle to the trash. Take ‘wudhu’ before worship. Arriving below, I turn the faucet and wash my limbs which have to be wash with water. After that, I pinch my socks with my two fingers and then use my shoes but not all of my feet were include because they are wet. I walk all the way to class, once I get there I pray in the class. And 5 minutes later, the bell is ringing at the same time signaling the last lesson.

After I’m finish praying, I’m waiting for the teacher outside the classroom like earlier. I don’t know why I distance myself from class, was it because I feel uncomfortable in class and then I found good friends with me so I distance myself. Or, I just really want to get away.

And then, the teacher comes to the class. It’s the science teacher. Then I sit on my seat again and then the class started.

“Okay student, because there’s nothing to do… now I’m going to sharing about my past moment. Can I do it?” The teacher said and suddenly whole the class filled with courage, some of them said.

“YES, OHH SURE MA’AM.”

“Ohh s**t! Here we go again.”

And the flashback start. At first I’m trying to sleep on my table but suddenly the teacher says about a high school that can a of them are rich people when the are having a break time. They usually order a food from outside using an application.

“Damn, how lucky they are…”

I said in my heart. And this teacher tells the story untill the twelve bells ringed. The teacher immediately said He will return to her university. Well…. Without that teacher maybe I would feel lonely too. But, what can I do?

And then the final teacher comes to the class. She didn’t teach the same as the others but just to say that we can go home now and also she give us some task.

Finally the home bell ringing, exactly at 15:05. I rush out to go home. When I get to my home, as usual, I wash my feet and hands first then take my cellphone and watch the tora index. I make a character there as a reference.

*2 hour after watching four episodes

“Okay- I’m going to the Dravistic now.” I said while stands up from my grandma’s bed. I’m then walks to my bedroom and then open the portal slowly.

“Huh? Weird, where is this?” The portal opens in a different place. I’m surprised and then I say.

“Well I don’t care, the important thing is let’s go in.” I stepped in and then accidentally there might be a slight distortion I was thrown in front of the door of a different room

“Ohh good. What now?” I said while rubbing my back.

“Huh, how to read the writing.” I said while squinting my eyes.

“It says Adventurer’s house. What is this, you don’t look like someone here… where are you from?” Suddenly someone said like that while holding out his hand to me.

“Ahh Adventurer’s Guild, there might be a good chance if I add some insight here. Ohh yeah, I have to come up with a pseudonym.” I said on my mind. He grab my hand and then suddenly I got an idea for my pseudonym. And then I say.

“Yes I come from far away, My name is Zvin. Who are you?”

“My name is Roger, nice to meet you Zvin.”

He said beaming. I’m not sure if my disguise work or not but, I didn’t think about it. I just want to be strong for now. I enter the guild with him. He lead me to the registration room while talking a lot of things.

“Please place your palm on this sensor and also stare at the ball in front of you.” Said the registrant.

“Okay…”

Then I put my hand and see the ball as he said. Suddenly the inscription appear from the ball and also some numbers. The figure consists of 50, 10, 35, 100. The registrant was surprised by the writing.

“W-WHAT?! THIS IS IMPOSSIBLE!” He said it out loud, even my ears hurt. His eyes focuses on the ball. And then, a small text appear below it. The man was even more surprised.

“THE UNIVERSE CORE?!” And suddenly everyone there are gapping in surprise and starts crowding my place. Roger and I are surprise, but Roger is the more surprised. I ask.

“What did the inscription say?”

“Damn you are lucky, in your status you are said to be an All role with Vigority 50, Agility 10, Intelligence 35 and Dexterity 100.”

“It’s quiet rare! Wait, why is the Vigority meter color are black? Did you hold your potential power?”

“That person said the core of the universe. What does that mean?” I said curiously and then he says.

“It’s your future potential, a legendary potential. And no one have it.”

“Well, let’s put that aside. There is one person who looks just like you except that her Agility and intelligence are higher than yours.”

I’m starting to get attracted to that person, but when I’m about him. Suddenly, a girl appears and says.

“Duh, I told you not to share it with other people, especially the new recruitment.”

I stun by it, her long ash grey colour ponytail, She wears a black and purple wizard’s hat which is a bit shorter than a normal wizard’s hat. Wearing a purplish black robe while carrying an animal on his shoulder. He is about 140cm tall and weighs 42kg. The curve of her body looks approximately 85 80 87. She have a charismatic aura. I thought she was a magician but after seeing the weapon she was carrying, it turned out to be an archer. I spontaneously put on a flat face and muttering.

“I thought she was a witch but seems like she was an archer. Ohh, it looks like she’s walking towards me.”

Sure enough, she walks towards me slowly and after that she keep the animal that she are carrying by her side. Then her left hand held my shoulder while her right hand held my cheek. Spontaneously, I’m feeling shy. The girl smile at me and says.

“Hey, what’s your name?”

“I-I’m Zvin. N-N-Nice to meet you!” I said while feel embarrassed.

“Okay, Zvin nice to meet you. Are you new a new guy?” She ask so cutely.

“Y-yes….!”

I don’t know but I’m feeling like she’s having a big sister’s soul. I mean she’s kind, understanding and caring for those around them. I feel I can depend on this girl.

“I see, then I wi

ll give you tips in choosing a quest. What do you like? Like the quest to clear the enemy or-”

“Yes, monster subjugation please!” I said with so much courage.
