The Night I Became His

1012 Words
"Lune…" I heard that voice; it sounded so far away. When I opened my eyes, the world around me was filled with light. But no one was there. I searched for the voice that kept calling my name, over and over, desperate and sad. It was Cassiel's voice. "Cassiel? Where are you? Cassiel?" My voice echoed into the glowing void. The sound faded, turning into a whisper that drifted farther and farther away. No! I had to find him. I had to find Cassiel. I ran through glowing fog, chasing that faint light ahead of me, blue and white, pulsing like a heartbeat. Without thinking, I followed it. And there he was—Cassiel—sitting on the ground, his arms around his knees. He looked broken, lost. What happened to him? Why was he here? I rushed to him and wrapped my arms around him. "Cassiel, it's me, Lune." He lifted his head, cupping my face in his hands. "Lune? Is it really you?" "It's me…" Cassiel's body began to glow brighter, so bright I had to squeeze my eyes shut. When I opened them again, everything was back to the way it was before: the open field on the cliff, the city lights twinkling below. I felt arms around me. When I turned, it was Cassiel. He groaned softly. "Ugh…" "Cassiel? Are you okay?" I tried to sit up, but my head spun. Was that… a dream? It all felt so real. Cassiel, lying beside me, turned his head. His eyes were no longer dark or feral; they were calm again. The Cassiel I knew. "Where are we?" he asked, sounding dazed. "Still here. The same place." Cassiel sat up quickly and gripped my shoulders, his face inches from mine. His eyes scanned me anxiously. "Are you hurt? Did something happen?" he asked, panicked. I laughed softly. "I'm fine, just a little sore because you were pinning me. And I…" My words caught in my throat. My clothes, oh, no! It's half undone. Only my underwear clung to me. And so did Cassiel. I froze, my face burning, and turned my back to him. "Did we… do something? And forget about it?" I asked, trying to sound calm, though embarrassment flushed through me. "Oh, did we?" His hand brushed my shoulder gently, turning me toward him. "You forgot already?" "You're the one who forgot." Do I sound like a total tease right now? Like I'm provoking him? I didn't want him to think I was desperate for him, just because he had everything, and I had nothing left to offer but myself. "Maybe we should remember it… slowly," Cassiel whispered, his finger tracing my shoulder and collarbone. I wasn't sure if this was right or wrong, but when he leaned in and kissed me—softly—it felt different. Different from the dream, or maybe that wasn't a dream. The slow, tender intimacy in his touch filled my heart with warmth and peace. He deepened the kiss, then trailed down my neck and shoulders, planting small kisses that made me giggle softly. "Are you sure… we're really doing this here?" I asked, breathless. "Isn't it beautiful?" he murmured. "To be one beneath the moonlight, and the glow of the city below us?" I couldn't deny it. Even the cold air didn't bother me; Cassiel's body radiated warmth that wrapped around mine like fire. My mind began to drift, all the chaos and questions fading away. Cassiel's touch, his scent, his kiss; everything about him made me forget who I was. His breath grew heavier as he kissed me more passionately, my chest, my stomach, lower… "Lune," he panted, his voice trembling, "you're mine. Not his…" His? Who was he talking about? But I ignored it, lost in the moment. I nodded, meeting Cassiel's gaze. "I am yours, Cassiel." My voice was firm, full of consent and longing. He was my first. "You're my first…" I whispered shakily. "I know." And then, our words melted into sighs, gasps, and whispers of pleasure. I gave Cassiel everything—everything I'd kept locked away, because I trusted him. When we reached that final, shattering moment, when he was entirely inside me, Cassiel bit my shoulder. And something… magical happened. I felt connected to him in every sense. I could feel his heartbeat echoing inside my body, his blood rushing through my veins, everything. He kissed my core, exploring me tenderly. It was something I'd never felt before; overwhelming, confusing, beautiful. "Relax, Lune. You're trembling," Cassiel murmured. "I don't know what to do," I whispered. "Don't think. Don't be afraid. It's just me. Give yourself to me, Lune. Don't hold anything back." I moved with him, following his rhythm. The ache turned into pleasure, an intensity that made my whole body tremble. Every thrust pulled me closer to bliss. I couldn't hold back anymore. I gave him everything I had. When it finally happened, when the world exploded into light, I collapsed in Cassiel's arms. His eyes met mine, burning and tender. 'Shall we go home now?' His voice echoed in my head. I frowned. Was that a joke? His lips hadn't moved. 'Cassiel?' I asked in thought, startled. 'There are many things I need to tell you. I just hope you won't be afraid.' 'Don't scare me, Cassiel. Are you playing tricks on me?' I sat up quickly, panic twisting in my chest. We were speaking… through our minds? Like... telepathy? "Cassiel, please. Tell me this isn't my imagination. Were you talking to me in my head?" "Yes, Lune." He sat up, facing me. "Why? You scared me," I squeaked. "Don't be afraid. I'll never hurt you. Ever. Because you're my mate." That word again—mate. I didn't understand. What was Cassiel really hiding from me? "Come on," he said softly. "Let me explain everything so you'll finally understand." "Back to your house?" Cassiel held out his hand. "Yes, Lune. Let's go home." But deep down, I wondered... What truth was waiting for me there? And would it be something terrifying?
