Chapter Five I pull the pencil out of my mouth, remembering I shouldn't be chewing on it. "Is this what it's like to be a kitten?" I ask Rhubarb and Lola, even though neither of them are particularly close to me. Rhubarb is over on the windowsill sleeping in the faint sunlight, and Lola is under the bed chasing a ball.
