I think I'd rather face Miss Feathertop again than walk into the room now filled with Caspian's family. Well, part of them. His Dad is still deployed and it wouldn't be him here anyway.
After studying them for Feathertop's class, I'm going to meet a siren. I'm not sure how to feel about that. Despite all the things Caspian's said about his family, he's been surprisingly quiet on the man who broke his parents up. Almost as if he's an afterthought to the issues he has.

"I'm never going to be ready to meet the parents." My voice shakes, especially as I realise I have two other partners, and Caspian's Dad to do this with. Though at least I've already met Daphne and Ryan's parents, even if I wasn't their son's girlfriend at the time.
