She’d made her way through signing a few dozen copies of FIRE ON THE WATER: A Companion to Mary Shelley’s Frankenstein, and now she pressed the rim of a satisfying cup of coffee to her lips as she looked out over the East River and the sweeping magnificence of the Brooklyn Bridge.
