As I awoke, I looked around to find myself in my bedroom with Eva curled up next me. Relief flooded me as I realized my father's return had been nothing but a nightmare. “Finally!” a terrifying yet familiar voice spoke from the far side of my bedroom. It was still dark outside and the lights were off so I could not see who but just from the tone I could assume. Suddenly the overhead light was turned on. Squinting my eyes as they adjusted to the sudden change in brightness I could make out the owner of the voice, confirming my fears. He was back. My father had returned and I assisted. “You cannot be!
