It’s been months, and I’ve been around Sasha as much as possible. I would have made a move already, but her being pregnant held me off. One would think that it was the toddler of my own that kept me from approaching Sasha, but that’s not true. My fated mate gave me my heir, and I wanted Sasha as well.
So, it wasn’t my own child that put me off, but the fact that she was pregnant. It’s one thing to move in after her mate’s demise, but it’s another to do so when there’s a bun in the oven. I hated to wait, but I had to play this smart.
Her baby girl came into this world quickly and loudly. I went to visit a few times, and I could tell that the baby was bringing joy back into her life. I figure I should just take a chance. She’s seen how hard it is raising a child alone.
