Aria’s POV
The second the last word escaped Alpha Alexander’s lips, the hall erupted into absolute chaos.
"What?"
"No!"
"Alpha Lucas?"
"This can't be happening!"
The noise was deafening. Pack members rose from their seats. Some shouted in outrage, others stood frozen in disbelief. The Elders repeatedly demanded order, but nobody seemed willing to listen.
I couldn't blame them. Just moments ago, Kael was condemned, and now the sentence had somehow shifted to Alpha Lucas. At that point, nothing was making sense anymore.
