Chapter 4: Tyrone

Ty left her there and went downstairs. Downstairs, Ty immediately went to his office and locked the door. He didn't want to be disturbed. He felt confused with his feelings and he wanted to think. He thought of how he treated Megan and how it was so unlike him. He was a passionate man and he can be intense but he always treated his women with care.

He usually has a lot of respect for women. He enjoyed their company and enjoyed a tryst every now and then. He never takes them if they weren't willing. He was patient and can enjoy a night of petting and cuddling. He can be a bit rough but only when the other party was willing.

But not the way he was with Megan, with her it was different. She brings out the primal in him and he can't help himself with her. Just looking at her makes him hard, even fully clothed and all he can think about is how he wanted to ravish her, right there and then. She was beautiful and she had a perfect body. He didn't know her from Eve when Lauro told him about his daughter, but before he

agreed, he had researched about her, found out as much as he can about her.

Looking at her photos and seeing her from afar a few times, made him want her. Looking at her at the pool with her two piece bathing suit or seeing her dancing at the bar with sexy clothes, gave him a hard on and he always had to resort to cold showers because he cannot take other women, his body was only craving for her. He thought that she would be good in bed, thinking that she was experienced, she could pleasure him and give him relief from the hard on, he managed to give him just by looking at her sexy photos. He hated the thought, but it is what it is.

He found out that she graduated with honors at the top university in their city, without help from her father. Not a lot of people knew who she was while she was studying, opting to keep a low profile, they never let them know that she was Lauro Beddoe's daughter.

It seemed to him that she’s got something to prove and she proved it. She never used her family’s influence and for that he was impressed.

She parties and goes clubbing a lot but she knows how to take care of herself. She goes to the gym three times a week, so she was very fit. If he was being very honest, she was exactly his type and he was quite attracted to her, but this deal with her father is wreaking havoc with his mind.

Yes, he wanted to get married someday, but with a girl of his choosing and not necessarily at this time. He is at the peak of his career and he doesn’t want to settle down quite yet. But Lauro was quite persistent about this deal and he wanted it done now or the deal is off. So he had no choice but to agree. He never liked being forced into a corner and it was Megan who felt the brunt of his anger.

“Arrghh!!!” Ty all-but shouted.

He was so frustrated. Seeing Megan in her wedding dress as she was walking down the aisle made him want her. Her wedding gown fit her perfectly and he all but swept her off her feet and whiz her off to their honeymoon suite.

Her being a virgin was something he didn’t bank on. She had been dating since college and from what he saw on the glamour magazines she goes clubbing regulary, seen with a number of men all the time, one would think that she was sexually active. So, he really didn’t think that he’d be her first or that she was “saving herself” for her husband. She was a modern girl and he didn’t think there was a conservative bone in her body.

When he went up the honeymoon suite after going to the bar on their wedding night. He didn’t think he was going to do anything, but seeing her body half naked, stirred his manhood like no other, and having had liquid courage, he threw caution to the wind and decided he was going to have s*x with his now wife.

Now they were home, in his home. He knew he wanted to bed his wife, as often as he could, but his pride refuses to fall for her. He will not allow this deal to make a mockery of him by allowing himself to become enamored to his prize.

Ty was jolted out of his thoughts with a knock on the door.

“Tyrone,” Nana called.

“The door is open, Nana.”

Even as Nana, cautiously opened, the door, he went and met her at the door, escorting her inside the room, “Nana.”

“Why are you here, locked up?” she asked him. “Shouldn’t you be upstairs, spending time with your wife.”

Ty shrugged. “I have a few things I need to take care of, Nana”

“Tyrone Finneas Campbell!” she called, “your wife arrived here way ahead of you. You didn’t know that she was coming here and you just got married,” she scolded. “This should be the honeymoon stage and you’re supposed to not be able to keep your hands off each other. You should spend all your time locked up in your room, not in your office! Is there something wrong?”

Ty massaged his temple. “Nothing Nana,” he answered. “It was just a misunderstanding with the going home part and I really do have to finish something. I will go up in a little while.”

She looked at him skeptically.

“I promise Nana,” he raised his right hand. “Everything is fine,” he continued.

“Please just prepare our lunch, we will eat together in the dining hall and I’ll introduce her to the staff, okay? Now let me finish my work so I can go back to my wife” he ushered her out of the office.

Nana still looked skeptical but allowed Ty to lead her out of the office.

Ty slowly closed the door and heaved a sigh. Nana although wasn't related to them was very special to Ty, she was the one who took care of him when his mom was too busy trying to please his dad or getting over his indiscretions, and he considers her as his second mother, even a grandmother perhaps, being a bit older than his own mother.

He still had a lot of thinking to do and not a lot of time. His Nana and the rest of the staff cannot know the truth of this deal. She will have a fit if she ever gets wind of this farce. And knowing her, she will move hell and high water to ensure that love blossoms between the two of them. At this thought, Ty gritted his teeth and thought, "never!"

It is a secret only he, Megan, her father, Lauro and his own father, Alberto knows. They all agreed that it will be safer for everyone if no one knows that everything was just business. They don't know the backlash that would create for the companies as well as the family. That's also the reason why they are not merging. The two companies will remain separate, but will be headed by Ty on top, although Lauro will stay on top of the Beddoe Corp, and if he has anything to say about it, the decisions will be made by him internally. Well, for him and Megan, The rest of the world, including his Nana, will all just have to believe that fairy tales do come true and that his and Megan's love story was for real.
