A FEW HOURS later, I began packing up my homework. It was after seven, I was hungry, tired, and wanted nothing more than to crawl into my bed and sleep for the next couple of days. But, still leery of Trevor waiting for me on my doorstep, I decided to make a detour to a local coffee shop just up the road from my house.
