Vol1: Chaper two

As I fall from the branch a green slimy yet hairy caterpillar was also falling. And as my bird instincts started to activate, I tirelessly flapping my small weak wings , hoping that I can eat the caterpillar. But still I can't fly.

At that time, I just give up on eating the yummy looking caterpillar and just close my eyes while waiting on my death.

"Wishikkk"

My back suddenly feel pain and as I open my eyes a strange window pop up. It's like the one from rpg games that I used to play on my childhood days and the game played by the Governor's kids.

There are some writing's on it, but it seems that I can't understand any of those. And its side's seems to have a nice curving and has a semi transparent blue color that one may think a plastic or a floating plastic.

In the games I used to play in my childhood days it always had a settings where a player can change its language and gameplay. And as expected Im not mistaken, maybe. On the bottom right of the window there is an wrench sign and I think its the settings, so I tap it. But unfortunately another window pop up and still I don't understand a thing. But the format seems like its letting me choose something .

I choose the first one cause its like a yes and no question format. And suddenly my whole body shines . Its so blinding that even a sun won't be as brighter than me right now. And it seems that it was not the settings. He He he I think I touch the wrong button.

"Tweet" "What? This irritating sound again?"

"What do you mean by irritating?" a familiar voice said.

"Who are you?" I said while slowly opening my eyes.

"Ho Ho , so you don't know me?"

"Mom?"

"Yes, My hero ahh no , My son"

"Wait, What's with the hero thing"

"You save me ! Son . from the great snake king!! "

"What, Whatt, Whattt!!"

"Yeah look where are you standing"

(We're speaking at bird's language)

As I look down, I really saw the big ugly snake from above . And now that Im on top of it it was way bigger than what I saw up in the branch. My feet is covered with blood as my tiny claws were buried in it's thick head scales. But there are some green thing on my feet.

The only thing I wonder is , How did it die from a little bird like me? Maybe its because of the window? or I just fall too high that it cause the impact enough to kill it.

But for now I have to talk to mom with something that is so important that she forgot. Its awkward to tell her in times like this but its more awkward if this problem won't be solve.

" Ah, Mom can I..."

"Son! are you hungry lets find foods"

" Ahh yeah , lets go Mom?"

Mom bite the feathers at the back of my neck and we fly back to the nest. Im starving now , so maybe Ill just ask her when we Finnish eating.

When we arrive at the nest at the top of the huge tree, Mom puts me down in the nest full of leaves and dried grass . Its not the one of the beautiful nest but it looks decent.

"Ill search for food , don't walk away from this nest or else..."

"Yes Yeah I wont do it" I replied And then again I became alone .

No annoying "tweet" of my mother , just the view and I.

Its almost like Im at the clouds due to the nest was place in a high place the clouds is like our floor. And the sun is like out light bulb. Minutes pass I became bored of the view , even if its nice, I still became bored. Who's a person that won't get bored by only staring at it. Even its beautiful People will still get bored.

And right, I remembered the window that pop up when I hit the snake's head. And hopefully I can now understand the Writings in it . But sadly I can't make it pop up. Don't know why , I even try shouting all the window calling in the game like novel I read but still it wont came out. And then suddenly the annoying "Tweet " sound was back .No , I mean mom was back.

"Son, here's the food for now . Say Ahhh"

"Mom Im not a kid anymore I can handle my self"

"No, just now ! say Ahhh" "Ok ahhh" She puts the small caterpillar into my mouth. And as always the taste is so heavenly the texture , its slimeliness , Its small hairs that touches my tongue . makes one wish for more.

When we finish eating . I dicided to talk to mom about the important thing that I have to ask her , So I sit near her. And she puts her wings to my shoulder. her soft blue feathers are touching mine and the warm of her body is being transferred to mine. It makes one wants to sleep but I decided to spoke.

"Mom, Can I know what's my name?"

"Ha Ha Ha , Son your too young to know your name."

"What? I don't understand, why?"

" Son, Names for us monsters are sacred only gods and deity can give you a name. And once you obtain your name you will can have a power. That is connected to your name. "

"And while you don't have it , let me be your name . I will be your strength and power in only you give me your faith, Son , your my Name . Hope I can be your name too."

"Ahh , Thats"

My mom in this world is not bad isn't it? I kinda like her now more than my mom on the old world. But still I miss her , Hais

But still its a bit cringe. Right?
